Thanks! I've still got a big bag of grommets from the other tanks I've made, I didn't even know there were "clear" bobbers - I might have to pick some up because that looks very cool!
I picked it up at Fred Meyers,

is it glass?
Plastic

That's a nice tank ya got there! I would like to try the fusion cartos. Is the site closed?
The server had to be replaced and the site redone but it's loading now and should be up in the next couple of days.
You won't be sorry for trying the Fusion. If your using them on a 3.7 volt ecig I recommend getting the LR bec ause these work best above that voltage. They will work on them but I like a warmer vape.

I think people do them differently...what works for me is one slit (I still use my dremel)...I have some punched with one hole too...they also work for me...:) hth
Thanks Debb...I guess what I'm asking is if there's a consensus best way for these cartos or if they're like any other carto...it's just that these two I mention are such awesome tasting vapor stacks that last a long time, I don't wanna waste any. Don't have to tell you guys, their rep speaks for itself.

right now I'm running two holes opposite sides on each one, seems to be working well on the 510 and okay on the Fusion...I'm wondering if one hole is better. I don't do Dremel...LOL

I use a Dremmel and put one hole in it. Here's a pic you can see the slot just above the bottom seal. The glass makes the slot look larger than it is.
As long as you get a hole in it and don't bend it your okay. I used a drill once and a hacksaw once.

So I'm getting that one hole or two, punched or cut, is the consensus...

I'll just see what works for me...thanks

Ha Ha - I think you've got it!

The Fusions work great in a tank. I think there may be some variance depending on the eliquid you use. You should be good as long as you don't go tiny or huge. Just make sure you get the filler saturated before you use them so you don't burn them - sometimes the filler can be a bit tight and they take some time to soak in the eliquid. I try to "drip fill" them, before my initial use, instead of just waiting around for them to suck up the liquid out of the tank.

Ya so do I. I fill my carto first just like I normally would if it wasn't in a tank. I put a carto condom I cut off first. Then I fill the tank.
