So i bought a couple of AW IMR 18350 3.7V 700mAh batteries but to use them in The Galileo i need a magnet (10mm dia x 2 mm), it should be placed inside the bottom cap, allowing the buttom to reach the battery and to make contact.

What i saw is although it had that magnet and i could use the 18350 battery, it would still fill loose inside The Galileo, because there is a small gap of about 1mm inside, so what i did is to place a small o-ring between the plastic piece that holds the screw that makes contact with the battery and the screw itself, like i show in the pics:

This is the top cap as it came:

I unscrewed the small aluminium screw, i got the little o-ring from a lighter:

I placed the little o-ring on the screw and install the screw back to the plastic piece:

Then i installed the top cap and the result was very good, the battery does not fill loose inside, the screw makes contact witht the atty adapter and the buttom fires ok.

Yep. Thanks Ariel for that tip. that is exactly how i run mine:D BTW Ill definetely have an update early next week on the tank system. I briefly spoke with Yasu earlier, he has been super busy with family issues but assured me that the tank system is right around the corner. I know I'm getting anxious:vapor:

Nice find misterD. Thanks for that. Yes i would be very perplexed as to why the unit wouldnt fire at all, being completely mechanical. However myself nor my partner have had any issues like that with our units and they have been working like champs from day 1. But Yasu is a very nice guy and he is always looking out for his customers. He will definetely correct any problems the customers are having.

I'm pretty sure the reviews you are seeing are for the first generation Juis. Yasu has reiterated that goodejuice will have the latest version first, with all bugs worked out. I saw first hand the new Juis via skype and, yea, it is very promising. Pretty sweet. VV could be a rumor, i know its been talked about.

Step down. The commercially available boost board is too big to fit into the package I was aiming for. Basically it's a full switching reg circuit stuck inside one of the extensor pieces. Take that and another ring, screw it above the batteries and below the top cap and you've got VV. Awesome thing is, it'll even work with stacked 18650s. 24 hour vape time.

Hi, @Ariel_MX,

why are you driving crazy with orings and screw ? There is a really simple way to feed our Galileo with all kind of 18350 without magnets or spacers.

This is a pic of my G with the Juis (it is a prototype piece, when Yasu was testing the system) but the way is the same olso with the adapters cup.

Take off a sleeve and a collector ring and screw the button cup direct on the main body. Then use the other sleeve to adjust on the 18350 type you are going to use.

I hope this contribute can be usefull :)

Cheers

Thanks Alex, i figured it and i read on the Italian forum about that configuration, however, i wanted to use it in "ovetto" mode (using all the parts).

I added too a ss washer on the button, between the aluminum cylinder and the part on the button where the screw enters, this increases about half a mm the part of the button that makes contact with the battery, allowing a better contact.

(i want to mention i haven't had any problem with the button, just was experimenting)
