Mine was working yesterday but had no energy. just got minor leage puffs but the atty seemed to stay wet. didn't use it, put it away and decided to charge some 14500s and try it again today. this time the atty was "on" and got hot but no juice- think I fried the atty. I'm taking it apart, cleaning it, putting on some vaseline or noalox and trying to do again from scratch.

It'll be a good learning experience (I hope). Would also kill for a video or parts list. I don't even know if I have it together right. Doesn't look too difficult but will take some playing. Will be a good way to get to know my mod anyway.

Happy vaping all. Please tell yasu that we love his product but would like some information about it. It would probably attract a whole new group of customers.

Yeah, I'm about to give up myself.
My button does not have anywhere to use an allen wrench to get it apart. Fiddling with the knurled ring, the button just sort of "fell apart". I don't currently have any washers that I know of that would go in the button.
It's not that complicated of a mod. I did notice the metal piece on the bottom of the jUIS where the batter would make contact is not flat. Looks like it was cut on a slight slant. I think, and I'm no expert, that that is preventing a steady contact when the button is pushed. I could be wrong, and will freely admit it if so.

I'm still getting occasional hits. I can tighten more, but then the contact is constant. I don't want to have to tighten to vape and loosen until the next vape.
I can get a partial "hit" if I manage to get the button pressed just right or something.

Very frustrating.
It's a cool mod, but I wanted to use it with the JUIS, just can't get consistent hits.

Edited to add:
The small center piece on the button part, that would make contact with the battery.....
there doesn't appear to be much, if anything, really holding it in place. There's a lot of wiggle to it.

Stupid here. The big ring the juice Weres the air?

The air flow is on the collar that goes around the atty.

The screw that holds the switch together has the Allen slot.

Got it back together with ju.is. Took me a minute but am happily vaping away. Still haven't tried w/o the ju.is but am back to impressed. Think the air hole was obstructed.

Ok. Back in business. Interested to see how this will be in a day or two. If I master this ju.is I will somehow post instructions or a video. It's not that hard but I want to dissassemble/reassemble a few times to make sure I've got the hang of this.

The collar that screws into the top of the JUIS. The rubber points up. Then screw on the air ring & upper collar.

I'll try & do a video later this week.
I'm on my phone at work for the next few days.

Interesting to read the threads cause we all seem to be having similar problems. Now I'm getting the constant fire, think I may be missing a part (probably have it but don't know where to put it).

Well, I did read that there is a little learning curve to this but I'm gonna get this thing firing if it kills me. In my case part of the issue, I'm sure, is my batteries. Just ordered some 18650s so I can get a feel for it w/ a bit of force behind it. I'm down to a couple of 14500s and this may be my problem.

I'm playing w/ my toy as much as my kids are playing w/ theirs.

I've tried a 18650 and a 18490 and even a couple of R123s. I can tighten everything up, but then I get a constant fire.
If I loosen a bit, the constant fire goes away, but then I don't get consistent fire. It's hit and miss if pressing the button will make it fire or not.

I don't have any magnets to try. I did try a tiny dab of nolax on each battery contact, but that didn't last long.
It works without the JUIS just fine, but I want my JUIS working.

Everything looks like all the pics I've seen posted. The only thing different I see is my little o-ring on the inside of the button is white instead of black, and I don't see how that would make a difference.
It looks like pressing the button in should raise the battery just enough to touch the metal contact on the bottom of the JUIS and fire, but like I said, I'm just not getting consistent firing. Sometimes it will, mostly it doesn't.
gggrrrrr

I've temporarily given up and will try again when my 5v batteries come in. I fried an atty w/ the constant firing problem and just put it away till I have more time.

Am wondering, if I truly am missing a part or want to order a new part can we buy one? I'm not opposed to sending this in for an overhaul if that's what it takes. Think m going to PM them to see if they offer any support.

Ok. Spent some quality time w/ my Galileo and she's perfect. Now that I've got it doesn't seem so difficult. My ju.ic works best when the ring is all the way up (screwed on). My problem was that my bottom button was not threaded all the way. I took bottom button apart, put it back in nice and snug, reassembled, put on the ju.ic and fiddled w/ the adapter seat and ring and voila - she's vaping.

I'm sure that this makes absolutely no sense to anyone else here but it worked.
