Okay...I am confused (not surprising given that I am old, LOL). The old sub-forum seems to still be getting new posts, then there is that crazy interim place where if you aren't careful you report something when you try to like it, and now there is this (much better) place in the Provape forum. Is this where we are supposed to be now???
They haven't shut the old subforum down yet.
The interim place is a temporary setup until they set up in here: Product and Vendor Specific
This forum is really where people interact with the vendor, but as has been proved in other vendor forums, it can be a nice hang out and discussion forum as well, depending on how strict the forum is...

In the ProVari sub-forum we could discuss other vendors, mods, etc. Here, ProVape could delete any and all references to Kanger, Reo, etc.
I would be happiest if we just hung out here, where ProVape reps could respond, and ProVape let us self-regulate with minimal interference.

We'll see what happens.

Just my opinion, but I would think that ProVape would welcome a chat thread of sorts here.

I know in other parts of the forum, there are many chat threads within the supplier's forum that don't actually stay on subject, but when a newcomer visits, they rally around the supplier full force - just as the Provarinati has done in the ProVari sub-forum.

I don't post much, but read many of the threads over there, and that was the reason I purchased my first ProVari over a year ago. I now own 5 of them. Two of which were purchased from the classifieds but the other three purchased new.

Again, I don't understand much about the moderation of one forum thread over another forum thread so I don't know how much ProVape would want to be involved in the moderation of their threads here.

This signature requires a bit of explanation. So here's the post that inspired it, and my follow-up comment (I bolded one section for emphasis):

So there I was, walked in with my ProVari in hand (because it's amazingly reliable and because it's a ProVari). I was there to buy juices and just browse the shelves as most people do, since I heard so many great things about their juices. But I'll get to that in a second. Anyways I'm looking and walking around and the lady who initially tried to help me before being whisked away by another shop keeper, came up to me and said "Oh nice battery holder but I think you should take a look at our mods". Then the 'provarinati' came into my head and said "Beat this woman with your all powerful ProVari!" As I clenched my fists I looked at her and kindly replied "Ma'am, I don't think you know EXACTLY what this is". Her face turned pale and the stupid look she had then faded. Now, knowing what I know now, I just popped the top off my Z-Atty Pro, pushed my fire button and showed them the "Last Man Standing" Coil. And watched as one of the guys immediately spotted the ProVari logo and the Zen~ stamp on the top cap and on the inside of my tank and he quickly pushed her off to the side and said "I see you're a builder and that's a mighty fine coil you got there, what's the Ohms on it?" And I told him what the Ohms were and how many wraps and strands I used to build it before finally asking to try some of his e-liquids.

The point of the story is - some folks just envy the beast mods. And some, just don't know what the !@#$ they're talking about - or have never seen it before. If you don't know what it is, don't pretend to know, ASK!

Other than that - their liquid selection was pretty good. They have a pretty wide selection of stuff, and for the most part I had a pretty fun albeit expensive trip. In which I got my wife to start vaping. She's not a smoker, so she picked up a bottle of 0 nicotine Strawberry - which tastes like - no joke - strawberries. They did have quite a few clone products in house, which for someone interested in that kind of thing - were priced fairly. Also noted they do have quite a bit of chargers, drip tips, tanks, coil heads, etc. Not really a place to go if you're needing mass quantities of stuff, but definitely a good range of liquids for sure. Overall a good experience. And I DID lower my nicotine levels with these new liquids so - wish me luck. I will however go there next time rocking my Semovar and Kayfun Lite+ to see maybe if that lady calls that a "battery holder" too.:vapor:

Enjoy it. You don't seem to be the type that I normally make signatures for, but this one seems to fit your perception of the "Provarinati."

Can you archive all the pics as well as the sigs? I hate the idea of loosing all that.

If you are talking about the Porvorn thread, it's been archived (see link above). ProVape has their own thread for ProVari pictures:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/309055-provape-user-photos.html so I imagine we'll use that until the ProVari Nation group gets up and going in the proper spot.

Edit: I just double checked that thread and it's not really like the Porvorn thread at all. :( I guess I'll start a new thread.

Naturally I screwed up the thread title. Should have been Porvorn, not Povorn.

Good Morning!

And to you as well. I posted on the current "Saloon" thread that I have sent follow-up PMs to find out the next step in getting our own sub-forum. I am on a mission!

Considering that we told to ask questions in the Variable Voltage section, I wonder what would happen if we posted real questions there without becoming defensive (or reposting the oscilloscope or 800hz info for the zillionth time). Would a flame war start just because we are there? I'm serious about us not being defensive. I want to be flamed. I want to be attacked. It may help to underscore why we need our own forum. Does anyone have the guts and restraint to be Ghandi?
