Oh, how funny. And I am the opposite of you. I can describe things in minute detail and they all work in my mind and on paper, but when I go to make the thing and use it, it does not work as it should. You should be happy and proud that you can take your ideas to fruition. I know I will eventually be able to make vapeable coils just from my sheer stubbornness and practice.

Being an amateur miniaturist (1/12 scale dollhouse furniture) some of these items I have used or have. This particular rod is very pliable and bends easily. I used this to upgrade my AGI's from the internal faulty spring to a brass rod so I wouldn't have to worry about variations in my builds.

I have been lucky in mini/nano coil building since I have been able to use items on hand. My biggest problem was seeing what I was doing since the eyes aren't as good as they use to be, the helping hands magnifying glass is my friend :p

But I find I am horrible at relating my experiences to others, I find what works for me and if someone asks me how I did it...I can't tell them - I just picked up this particular item wrapped my coil around it, tested it and voila it worked...I really need to take more notes

Hey, I wish I started with a Twist/Protank. I started with joyetech sticks, and liked them enough to buy a whole bunch of them, with accessories (PCC charging case - crap like that)...

Was at a vape meet today with a new vaper (old friend of my husband's) who had a serious case of mod envy. I had my silver ProVari accented with brass and my Nemesis (clone) which has been heat treated and is a kind of brass/purple color. New vaper has an Ego Twist and a Protank2 with an Aerobase. Did a lot of confirming that what he had was perfectly fine, we all started there, etc, etc.

Why do you want to punish yourself with that silliness on such a fine Sunday? There must be more going on with that Zmax than vaping.

Interesting matchup today.

For me, it was Mistics and Blus, and then an Ego Twist and a Kanger t2 or a Vision Viv Nova.

Check out Rip Trippers on youtube. He has a bunch of coil building tutorials on his page at the bottom. He's the best guy I found on youtube. Very knowledgeable and easy to follow. https://www.youtube.com/user/RiPTrippers

As I've posted before, he can be awfully fun to watch with closed captions on.

I just can't get through a whole Rip video. I'll have to try the closed caption, might make it more palatable.

I have tried watching his videos several times on a few different topics. I just find something repulsive about him and his method of communicating. I do not think closed caption can erase what I have already seen and heard. Yes, taste IS subjective.

That does help a lot. I have a decent idea of what I have to do. I get confused with the 'do I use 28ga or 30ga Kanthal to get a 2ish ohm coil and how many wraps do I need' and what size drill bit, nail, rod, (insert other object) do I use to wrap it on. I need to start doing and stop thinking.

Glad I could be of assistance. *tip of the hat*

My dear, I'm bored. It was either spar with "Captain Ahab" or play Plants vs Zombies - Garden Warfare and Titanfall all evening. Since he isn't being cooperative, I'm afraid I'll have to go play video games.

I won't go as far as say he's repulsive. He's very intense and passionate about what he's trying to communicate and I find it tiresome to watch. I think he actually saps my energy. He does have some good info in his videos though.

There's nothing wrong with where you started. It got vaping, didn't it? I'm still using a couple of eGos because I got them when I first started and they still work.

Oh, yeah - I was happy with them - I just did that common "I'm never going to want anything more than _____" thing.
There was a thread on that recently - and it was quite funny how everyone's stuff escalated...

By the way - great new signature banner!! Very cute!

I still have an Ego Joye (Happy Vapor HV) that I use. I bought it 4 years ago. One battery died and still have one more. I had a lot of money into it, and juice was more expensive at the time. I accidentally vaped some flavoring not long after I bought it. I could barely breath. I was freaked right out..LOL.

I quit the Ecigs and went back to analogs. I had some Ejuice sample packs and thought that's what it was. The products were marked poorly. I had a bunch of flavorings, accessories and Ejuice from Vapables.com and Happy vapour up here in Canada.

I realized 4 years later what I had done when I looked through the 2 boxes of Ecig stuff I had sitting around on a shelf. I have Ejuice 2 years expired in the box..LOL. Anyways, I started using it again. Bought some new Ejuice and an MVP 2. So far so good.

I remember reading threads about shortness of breath here and wondered if that is what people had done, vaped straight flavoring. Don't ever try it..LOL

Thanks!! Ocelot made it for me. I think most of us said the same thing. I never thought I was going to buy more than a eGo. And some are very happy with them. I probably could get by with eGos but it's nice there's better devices on the market now.

That's for sure. In fact, I'd still be using eGo's if they weren't so fragile. Now all I want are more ProVari's...and a Microstick...and a few more mech clones.

I like how Ocey managed to get the Sophia in there after all. :D

I wanted to use Edd's Sophiafia banner but it would take too much reworking and probably be too small given the banner rules. I just want a MicroStick now. The line starts after me.
