So is my son.

Good thing I don't live with him...lol

My son is also a neat freak and it always makes me laugh. He had the filthiest room ever when he was growing up and managed to turn the rest of the house into a mess too. His own house--perfect. My house, looks more like it did when he lived here because now that I a not cleaning up after him I am not so good at cleaning up after me.:(

I built my first successful coil tonight. I used the Artistic Wire Gizmo thingy I got at Hobby Lobby, the smallest rod (1.22mm - thank you Ocelot) and 30ga kanthal wire; 12 wraps. It glowed nice and evenly red and metered out at 1.6ohms on my provari mini. Still does.

Problem is that I spent over 30 minutes trying to thread a wisp of cotton through that teeny, tiny coil. Total failure there. I even went and got out my needle threading tool from my sewing kit. Still no dice. So I just lovingly wrapped the cotton ball wisp around the coil and took a second tiny wisp and put it over the coil and drenched it in juice. Lined up the airhole with the coil on the Igo-L and started vaping at 4.0 volts.

Still working, still at 1.6ohms. But the flavor does not seem to be as good as it is on my 510 atty. Produces vapor, but not a lot. No burnt taste but just not the clear taste I am used to with this Igo.

I am still proud of myself. I need to get some kind of major magnifying device setup - read some poor reviews of those types of things from fasttech and the cheaper Harbor Freight setup so I will have to look around. I am blind as a bat with this coil building.

And I just found out that my Russian 91% has shipped so I do not have to wait until May. Happy, happy. Just need to practice more coils.

Way to go Shari!! The first step is always the hardest and now that is behind you!

Something that works for me with getting the cotton through the tiny coils: I bought reading glasses that are three strengths above what I really need, I get the end of the cotton rolled rather tight (I am going to cut that off anyway) and I then get it going through a little bit, and then take a small needle bottle and carefully push it through until I can hold it on the other side and gently pull it through.

I tried the 'helping hands' but the strong reading glasses work better for me.

Hope some of this helps! It works for me...

A friend in another thread told me that I actually built a nano coil, whatever that is. He said that the cotton is laid under the coil so I guess I guessed pretty good on that point. But I am getting little flavor and not much vapor. Quite unsatisfying. The height of the coil plays into flavor and throat hit, higher is more throat hit, lower is for more vapor. So I will check mine out and see if moving it down will help.

Tomorrow I am going to build a coil on the next larger rod, at 1.5mm and see what happens. So the fun begins.

Thank you for the show of support. I tell you, that Gizmo thingy is really a godsend. So much easier and quicker and more accurate than winding around a drill bit for me.

Thank you for taking the pressure off of me. I have been house hunting for months, but despite a huge file of images I haven't found one with the potential to keep expanding.

Yeah, I save nice boxes, too. I'm a terrible hoarder....lol

Keep it up and we can see on tv

Her episode will be later in the season. My episode is the premiere (this is just my desk):

Your picture helped. The kid with the big holes in his ears at the B&M "was sub ohming man!" (not that there is anything wrong with young kids and huge earrings)

You heard it here first! I plan on applying for a patent when I find an electronics company to work with. Someday, all of those kids with huge gauges (I hope that's the right term), will be geriatric. What will they do then? Voilà!

Morning peeps!!! I'm thinking a Redbull is needed this AM...wacky dreams kept me up all night and I'm dragging. I wonder if it's all those murder mystery shows I seem to catch late night?

Drive to the nearest Starbucks and say:
Triple Venti Whole Milk Mocha, extra hot, no whip cream.

Get two. I need one as well!

Y'all have problems. Lol. Clutter makes me crazy. When I get something, I put it in it's correct place and immediately throw away any box, peanuts, etc. Haha

Heehehehee...I do keep my bubble wrap. It's great to reuse when I PIF juice to someone and fun to play with when I'm bored.

Lol..I would but....I think I'm the only person in America that despises Starbucks  I'm a Dunkin Doughnuts kinda gal

I like Dunkin Doughnuts too...but it's too far from me to be my "go to" place.

I have a little mom and pops coffee house right down the road from me, Mean Bean, and they make Starbucks taste weak!

I just mentioned Starbucks because they're like McDonald's...they're everywhere!

Actually same here. I usually go to a local mom and pop type place here and it rocks.

You're not alone Miss Angie. I've tried their coffees a couple of times & wasn't impressed at all. I also bought my favorite bean/roast to grind & make at home, still wasn't very good grinding & preparing it the way I like.

I guess my problem is I'm not a real coffee drinker. I add coffee to my Fench Vanilla cream and Stevia. Heeheheehehe. So Starbucks to me is WAY to bitter/strong even with the $6.00 add ons like Carmel latte mocha blah blah blah. I just like French Vanilla cream and sometime Hazelnut.

Sugar free of course...;)

And glad to see you here Oz, stranger danger
