vaping makes me feel smart because of all of the technologies involved in it! Battery wAh, atomizer/cartomizer ohms, voltage... it's very cool and quite smart of us ladies to know our gear! I feel accomplished that I know what's in my juice and exactly how my gear works.

So... besides switching to vaping, what are a few accomplishments or goals that you have achieved that made you feel really great and proud of yourself?

I feel proud that I'm only a semester away from my first college graduation! As a teenager, I had a VERY rough high school experience. When I graduated, my parents had plans for me to go to a community college to get started. Well... I had other plans. A lot of people I knew there were hardcore parties and dropouts. I started to go down a bad road, and my future looked bleak. I skipped class, partied almost every night, but I did have a job so that was alright. I was still a wreck in the making, and it was horrible. At age 22, life smacked me right across the face. People were asking "What're you doing for a job?" "Are you in school? I was no longer a "kid" (21 is still a kid to me because you get to party and drink since you're officially legal to do it) and now the fun stuff is on the back burner. With heavy encouragement of my aunt, I decided to go to another community college that seemed extremely calm and very productive. With a 3.09 GPA and being a non-analog smoker, I'm one semester away from graduating and I couldn't be happier! :toast:

Another achievement was winning a Champion ribbon at a horseback riding show. It was a smaller scale and an open-breed show, but I was so proud because I horseback rode for days and days with my beautiful Polish Arabian horse, Royal Stardrifter. We then went to an A rated Arabian Show and placed fourth out of 28 other riders! :) Aah, the memories!

Awesome Raynen! Sounds like you are a force to reckon with when you set your mind to doing something. That will get you far in life. :D

What am I proud of? Ohhhh let's see....finding every loud toy I can and sending them home with the grandbabies. Payback is SaWeet! lol.

Serious...latest thing is of course giving up analogs. Other than that...I am most proud of my kids. They are my greatest accomplishment! Hands down...nothing trumps that. :)

Congrats Raynen!! You had the strength to go back and do something to better yourself...awesome!!!!

Well I have managed to raise 2 kids of my own and my step-son from the age of 12 and them and the DH all survived it...LOL They are all living on their own now  It takes a lot of strength and patience to get them to the age to realize that mom and dad weren't always wrong. That to me is a great accomplishment!!

Oh and yes it is payback time....we have grandkids, lots of noisy loud toys...hehehehe

The only thing that I can think of at the moment that I'm pretty proud of is I followed my dream. My dream was to see Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. I got laid off from Boeing back when they were laying people off by the thousands so it seemed like a good time to give my dream a try. It was just me, my German Shepherd and my horse. I spend 3 summer months in Livingston Montana and loved it there. Would have stay but don't like winters that get below zero degrees. In the fall I headed for Colorado and ended up in Montrose and stayed for 5 yrs. Loved it there. It's an experience I'll never forget. I was afraid of selling everything I had and just taking off but I did it and have no regrets. So I feel proud of myself for doing it and will not be wondering what it would have been like when I'm too old to get out of my rocking chair.

By the gods I've done a lot of things that I'm proud of in my life:

I've figure skated competitively.
Trained a horse that everyone said probably wouldn't amount to anything into a State O-MOK-SEE Champion.
Served 7 years in the Army as a Combat Medic and earned my National Paramedic license.
Graduated from Respiratory Therapy school, although I never got a chance to practice. At that time, I had the right to put EMT(P), CRTT after my name.
I graduated with my Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems (Database Specialty) last October.
I've been clean and sober for 18 years.

Congrats, Raynen! You've accomplished a lot to be proud of!
