I had my finger hovering over the add to cart button today. Here's the thing though. I spent nearly 100$ on the Dripper Pro and I kind of dont want it just sitting there not on a mod lol. But then I kind of want to put my killer 705 tank setup on my provari when it all gets here soon… holy first world problems eh.

I've got to wait till tomorrow (I think) to see if I win a mod. If I don't ill be buying the Hippo or a K100 to put my Killer on. As it stands now , this doesn't ever leave my Provari

I wonder something , and this just a theory, repeat just a theory. When a jar lid is stuck on you can run the cap under really hot water and the metal expands a super tiny amount but its usually enough to get the lid off. I wonder if maybe you could torch the area that screws on to the bottom threads and give yourself a tiny bit of play.

Thinking about getting one of these, but they are kind of expensive for what they are.

Yeah, I'm pretty on the fence myself. I might just get a bOd kit for my evic to continue giving the Greeks all my damn money lol. I do like the functionality of the evic, it just feels so cheap and light in your hand after owning a Provari. I think even my provari mini is heavier.

Hot water may work but there is an o-ring fitted so torching might be out. Tried neither as the key ring works for me, its happened twice now. When, and not, if it happens again (which it surely will) i shall give it the hot water treatment as i like the idea chadsmo.

I do not have my part, yet. I am still waiting for it to arrive. Can the the o-ring be removed? If so, then perhaps, a light heat source might be applied to the outer piece, no?

I've got a pair of them and like them allot.. (although one is currently on my Legacy).. they can be a little "fiddly" until I learned how to get them set up properly.. For me..it was.. separate the two pieces.. Screw in the threaded piece..by hand and securely.. I pushed the pin down a little..and then screw on the outer piece on.. The key was to NOT over-tighten either piece.. when I first got it I was cranking down too hard on them and when ever I would adjust the air-flow control the whole unit would move.. I know I am good when I can move the air-flow around freely with out the center piece moving..been working great

My Hippo was just delivered a few moments ago.

Upon installing it, the outer ring did get stuck to the inner piece and they both unscrewed off of my provari in one piece. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and separated them. Then I reinstalled the center piece and applied a very small amount of e juice to the o-ring and to the threads of the post. Then I screwed down the outer ring. That seemed to solve the problem.

I love the look of the brushed SS Twins and the Hippo at the opposite ends of my mini. Now, I can head back to Vegas a happy camper.

- Andy . . . Challenge the day.
