Well I’m not divorcing vaping but have spent most of the day in counseling by reading this forum. Tomorrow will be day 14 and my SE gold and I have been blissfully happy. The draw was getting a little harder and less vapor so I had ordered a new atomizer and an usb pass through to be ready when the old one went out. They came today and it has been awful. Fist pass-through almost started a fire then I have been trying everything to clear the NASTY taste out of the new atty. Ugh after 8 grumpy hours I give up back to vaping on the old atty for tonight. I am going to return the pass through and order new atomizer and hope I do better next time. Oh well all relationship need work.

Sorry to hear you've had some problems. E-cigs can be finicky as you have found. I haven't personally used a SE Gold e-cig, but have heard good & bad things about them. I know they are not cheap but if you find yourself getting to the point where you want to give up on e-cigs altogether, I'd highly recommend to consider another model. 510s and 901s are both great units and are priced much cheaper than the SE Gold.

All atomizers have primer though and it can be nasty. You may also do better with bottles of e-liquid as opposed to pre-filled cartridges (assuming that's what you're using).

For your next purchase, I would advise moving away from SE products. The company has a lot of shady practices, and the quality of their equipment is questionable.

The 510 and the Vapor King are good devices. I personally use a 510 and love it, others swear by the Vapor King. Also, you can buy e-juice from some vendors that make vaping much more enjoyable.

If you want a big hitting PV, I think the 801 and the 510 are tops at making vapor.
