I was meaning the thickness of the tube's wall. (So a 2.3 mm thick wick can be inserted)

That's still larger than a regular premade Zenesis wick, it's all good.

Pay day today and I-Hys are sold out!

There will be more soon! This is Facebot we're talking about!

I agree and in the same boat...IF something works for me, and I have no problems, then why should I change what isn't broken IMO...for someone else that has problems and has to fiddle, I see no worries and they should keep trying different things until they find whatever works for them....its all about keeping off the stinkies...doesnt matter if it's old tried and true, or the latest new 'fad' out there...

Yes - innovation is a great thing, and should be encouraged. Also debates - forums are great when debating is kept healthy. Please keep in mind that my thoughts are only for my own daily operation of geni devices. Other people might be having loads of issues with shorts and hotspots, and have to fiddle with their devices often. I don't. I don't see the need for it personally - and that is the main word: "personally". Anything that is going to help anyone have a better experience should definitely be encouraged.

Also, this is not to say I wouldn't try it if someone gave me a little piece of tubing :) Who knows if my opinion might change? Anything is possible. My opinions right now are just based on speculation.

He talks about 15 watt setup. So I dont know the science behind getting that out of the ihy. But he is using a 8 wrap 32awg.

15w without a kick is easy....less wraps and it will equal a very hot vape... I'm typically vaping 12.5 to 13+ watts on all my devices...usually 3 or 4 wraps depending on the gauge of kanthal...and I can adjust the energy up on my 'vari's as well up to my sweetspot with the wraps on my gennies...

I understand bro....I'm just saying, I never deal with hotspots, and if they are there, take me few seconds to rid myself of em with mesh ;) flavor-wise? I have no problems and no caramelization currently but, I did early on, a year ago, when I first started experimenting w/ gennies... not putting anything down, just my opinion for what I like ;) I know we had a small 'misunderstanding' earlier in the year, which I know both of us apologize for, and no hard feelings as well...and agree, if anyone still feels they need to experiment, by god, don't stop and go for it...I was agreeing with that, just saying I have no need to atm my friend ;)

Shaitaan, it ain't broken, but to be able to vape a cleaner vape, have no hotspots ever and not oxidize the wick are benefits which makes it more then worthwhile trying....

All good brotha!!!!!

I have no issues either, just that if it can be better, I am first in line :2cool: to try it out.
There are many people who do have issues, veterans included and if it can be made easier that would be already an improvement as more people will be able to enjoy this great genesis setup, the flavor, the low maintenance and an even cleaner vape.

without a doubt, when those that try it out, let us all know ;) I may have been a bit too closed-minded a bit back, but not so much now, and I thank Fisty, Darc and Blaine for that ;) atm currently running a 3 wrap twisted 32ga coil on a fatty 50/50 (325 outside, 400 inside) wick in my Ti standard, will be running 30ga 3 wrap and 400 mesh fatty w/ my red dragon...more mesh samples to try arriving soon as well ;)
I wanna be ready for when my HR arrives
