I've been melting glass (torchwork) for over 10 years now and I would only recommend using fused quartz. You guys are going to have boro blow up in your faces. I can guarantee it. Really! I've had it happen enough and it doesnt take a glass torch to shock boro glass! I dont have to look up anything on the internet to know first hand from my experiences working and melting both quartz and boro glass that its an accident waiting to happen. ONLY USE QUARTZ GLASS!!! Besides quartz is a better conductor and its going to take a hell of a lot more heat than boro before any shocking.....

Can't get the blue dragon banner to work its too small unless i'm doing it wrong but searched like 20 pages and havn't seen any .So i will go with this .

That's cool thanks TechJ I didn't take it apart to clean it yet. What's the process you use to do that? Take the screw out pull everything apart and can you clean it with iso alcohol? Is it ok to use 91% I can't find 99% any where?

So i recieved my dragon today and it is beautiful, but i went to get it running and popped 30 coils trying... never popped one on my DID. any ideas why?

Going thru the same thing Gumby. Been trying for the last hour to get a coil going. Every one of them has popped. Even tried the Peter K method. Coil looked great till I put in the wick. First fire, POP! I gave up for a little while. Its a good thing I have lots of wire.

Maybe this list of Troubleshooting Tips for Coil Popping will help.

Got my dragon this morning and had to run right to work, no time to set it up Work ended rushed home and began to admire the beautiful craftsmanship That took about 5 seconds and I thought "what are you doing? Set it up!!". So I did, rolled a 400ss wick, wraped a 4/3 with 30 kanthal and man This device is one Bad Mama jama Blowing frig'n CLOUDS right off the bat with flavor, oh man the flavor Not only is it Beautiful, but EXTREMELY functional

Did you review the instructions in this post (Click for instructions to add banner) me1969? I'm not sure what the problem could be. So sorry you can't get it fixed!
