If you want that kind of vapor, just take your 32 kanthal and twist it tight like a braid. Use a dremel, drill, pliers, fingers... Whatever you got layin around and experiment with 3/4, 4/5 wrap coils. :)

Good to see another positive review on a item i just purchased congrats face!!

I just like my reviews to be about the item and the item under review only not a comparison. Other then that I enjoyed what he said, and this is my first ihy. Playing with twisted coils tonight getting ready!!!!

I tried this method and the vapor was great on the first tank then the vapor just went away like a bad carto, maybe is all in the wick size, i have also tried a fat wick and keep popping my wire at the top so when i roll a toothpick of a wrap 325 my wire glows evenly like it should, but i had to go back to 4/5 wrap with 32 wire in order to keep things right but i still dont have good vapor production.

I hold the end of the wire w/a small cutting pliers, stretch, put the bent end of the allen key in the loop and TWIST!

faceless,
you may want to look into this idea too. I bought some ceramic fuses today and took them apart. They are tubes and I am going to try to get a wick in there to use with the method everyone is discussing right now.

I still do not know how to get the gunk off, or if it will work, but you would probably understand this stuff better.
