So I got aggravated with my coils on the new Blue dragon. Popped two coils so burnt the wick some more. Made a couple more coils I didn't like. So I pulled the wick out and burnt off the juice. Then I wrapped a perfect coil with the wick out, leaving extra wire to attach it.
After attaching the wick/coil and firing it up everything worked perfect.

Umm nice I got 1 this week but can't put nothing ontop of it without stealth cap or adapters? So I'm Dripn it until I figure it out and or what to buy GG new to me.

Went to the local vape shop and kept screwing on adapters until I found something that worked. I think I settled on 801/901, 901/510, 510/510... LOL. On the hunt for a Stealth cap though. But I shouldn't need any of that with the ZAG. Is that right, EZ?
Naw I bought the trash can it came with a free GGTS tube. Just wanted a nice stash of the rare GG stuff....the old style 4 in 1 caps are hard to get and then you have to buy the supporting tubes and it sort of spins out of control, lol.
Yea that's the thing I now have a red and blue Dragon but only one kick. So I have to get the coil set to work off a straight battery which is harder then just wrapping one and using the kick to set the correct voltage. Ohm this and Ohm that and all......

I literally just built edit: my FIRST 28 guage 4/4 coil (almost a perfect 4 wraps) on the Blue, and it's absolutely nutty...the thing is that it is a bit touchy- if you chain vape it for too long, the coils DO turn red because the SS can't wick fast enough! It seems to have calmed down now since the coils have oxidized a bit.
The point is, no matter how much experience you have with wrapping coils and genny systems, there's always something new to try, or something to learn- and people are always willing to help here.

That was exactly the problem I was having, I got all the coils glowing even, filled the tank, then the top coil would turn red cause my wick wouldn't keep up. This wick has a hole in the center where as the other wick is a fat wick rolled really tight. The tight wick seems to work beter but I have also read about putting a small baby wick inside a loose wick, think i'll try that.

It's pretty intense. I pretty much have it open all the time, press f5 every few minutes. Then I leave work and miss A TON!!!!!!!!!

ok I think even Grruss and others who use the kick will agree with this. Even if you like and use the kick it is a good idea to learn to wrap one without it. You never know when something might happen and you fry the kick. Unless you have spares on hand that means either vaping without one or putting your iHy's away til you get a new one

I know how you feel, I want a Hellraiser but my wife just got home and is calling diner so I have to go for awhile.
