Many, many advantages living in Alaska not available to us in the lower 48 though, aren't there?

Yeah one of which is PLUID ON TAP :D:D Now that is a distinct advantage. Let's not forget that although it is pretty cold up there it is absolutely Stunning scenery year round. That cold though adds to the Vapor your PV produces outside though too :D

Eh well, no native poisonous spiders or snakes. Um we'd be the last place for a zombie apocalypse. The population is getting pretty dense so you have to go farther for good hunting and fishing. Everything is more expensive, fuel, food, housing.
Beginning to wish I was back to a place where I could drive a few hours vs days to be in another state.

I could see there being a whole lab with all kinds of crazy colors flowing through glass tubes and pipes and a needle on the end of it, somehow producing a green liquid in the tank you fill :). Preferably Envy edition ;)

LOL I hear ya there, I spent almost 8 1/2 years on two different tours in Hawaii and while it was a Beautiful and very special place to be stationed, it was a pain to not be able to drive to a different state :(.

I'm having a bad wick/coil night. I switched from my usual AVE Blend 4 to Boba's. My 400 wick & 30g 4/3 wrap in't working. No hot spots, supply just won't keep up with demand. Any thoughts?

I have absolutely no clue, all I use is what I got from my DID Orders and the 400 that I ordered from ENS. It works pretty good though with every juice I have run through it.

I am not sure if it would work for Bobas but I noticed loosening the wicks up a bit as far as how tightly I rolled them makes everything wick a whole lot better for me. Even my DIY Maple Syrup which is like vaping a mud pie because it is some seriously THICK stuff.

Sure the scenery is beautiful year round. It is just as beautiful all over the world if you spend the seconds to notice.
Vapor is good, but batteries last half as long when cold. Coils has to run hotter. Juice gets thick when cold and doesent want to wick.
I'm born and raised here, lived most of my life here. The years away in the service enriched me with beauty everywhere. From open ocean to barren desert.

I hear ya there, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been was Singapore. It is truly a wonder to behold how clean that city is. I have been all over the world being in the Navy and I have loved every bit of the past 16 years I have been in. 4 More and then I have the Option to retire and try to enjoy a lot more of the Natural beauty of the world :D

My Ex moved there. She tried to talk me into going with her but I think the same way you do, it seems too small closed in for my taste.

Boba's is working fine for me with a similar set up but I do not crimp the wick

Thanks so much for the info (and the compliment :))

I had no idea that it could be some of both? I assumed it had to ONE or the other? Thanks ATX.

I think it does need to be one or the other, I was just saying I'll prolly switch back and forth between the two before I settle into something for the long haul. I don't know though, you might be able to use both but that would be one stiff throw if ya did.

ya may not worry too much about a zombie apocalypse, but I hear those vampire excursions during "the dark days", can be a beotch...

I'm in the same boat Capt, thankfully I'm not often a chain vaper unless I'm having a beer or driving.(not doing both at the same time don't worry!) But I also have times when my wick just doesn't keep up when vaping my bobas. Duke said to use some 635 mesh, I just don't have any on hand.

Really thick juices can be tricky but here is what I found works..it works well enough that it's pretty much the standard setup for me.

Roll about an inch wide of material around a thicker, 16 gauge syringe or something comparable. Not the filling syringe but one size thicker. You end up with a straw. Then take about 1/3rd inch of rolled wick material and shove it inside. It creates a wick inside of a wick.

It will need some break in time as all wicks do but it will wick that thick stuff better. I vape 70+ VG so this is the kind of setup I've been using.

This is the only setup that's keeping up on my silver dog as that device is a bit wicking challenged. No leak genesis but it was a struggle to get it wicking right. Should have resorted to the wick inside of a wick immediately but I was in a rush to get it setup when it came in.
