I'm just very confused as how it takes a 14500 or 18500 and not be nearly as fat as the current one ??
And for that matter if it takes a 18500 why in the heck would anyone use a 14500 its terribly anemic with a low C rating.
I hope no one gets hurt wrapping there .9 ohm coils on a 14500 battery.

I guess there could be two tubes one fat and one skinny but I don't see how that would match up on the top end.....

Oh well just have to trust the master and wait and see

C and F are bad @$$ - Would love to see a bugged out iHy like that. Machine marks would probably have to be buffed out first for it to look good though...

Ok it started out as just a 14500, but Fac didn't want the atty section bigger around then the battery tube so he made the tube just a bit bigger so it would all be flush, then he found out he could drill it out a bit more making the walls very thin (which is part of why we don't know if he will be able to do LE's in them) and it would then fit the 18500

In order to get a good color when anodizing Ti, the surface must be machine polished and cleaned, it also depends what solution the Ti is dipped in. A DC power supply is needed and different voltage/amps give you different colors. I believe C & F would be very hard to achieve, as each color is made at a different voltage... C & F are Awesome though.

Re-wrapped one of my iHys today - the one I am carrying for the day (iHy of the day). It is already past 3pm and I am still vaping on the same 18350 I put in it this morning. At first I thought maybe I am just not vaping as much, but looking at the tank, it is already at the halfway mark. I guess my coil kung-fu is finally getting better!

It's been a while since I could get on the computer BUT I just checked the tracking for my Gunmetal v2.1. It's out for delivery!! Will be there when I get home.. I just need to get some butane for my torch.

To do a juice burn on a wick does it have to be 100% VG? All I have is some 50/50 from RAWR.. Maybe the grocery store would sell VG (doubt it)?

Hey guys been a while since I've been here hope everyone is doing well.
Loving my standard as would be expected.
Is faceless making the entire 14500 out of ti?
If so how cool would it be to have a blacked out version...the entire thing. Switch, top cap, drip tip, ect.
Didn't know you could anodized ti. You could do any color really but I just love black mods.

Ok, where's Fisty? I have another idea for a LE. Another catering to the ladies. I have decided it will be called the ihymen. I think it needs to be a nice pink color. The cap will be engraved with three letters in fanciful style "VJJ". The cut out will be an upside down triangle...around the base will be engraved a nice big cherry.

I think this one will have to have some more technologically advanced features. I want it to have a built in "biological clock" and a series of servos. It will need to be placed on the bed next you and one it gets absolutely freezing cold it will roll up against your back. And for one week of the month it will fire erratically. When you e-mail for tech support during this week and ask what's wrong, an autogenerated email will be sent to you that says "I DON"T KNOW!!!!!"

I know there were a few responses already, but have you looked at, for example, a Wizard's Apprentice 18350 battery mod compared to the iHy 18530 tube?

One of the reasons for the girth of the iHy 18350 tube is the fact that Ego wanted to make the battery tubes interchangeable which means there needs to be room for the threading to be able to screw it to the atty portion, etc. The other reason is that he may have been compensating, hard to say.
