Hi everyone .. having little trouble with the coil poppn. Im using 500# w/ 32 kanthal. Last night I tried it with the 28 Kanthal just couldnt get rid of the HS so switched it w/the 32 Kanthal. It wicked pretty good last and after work today tried a few pulls and pow. Any tips greatly appreciated. This picture is with the 32 kanthal that just popped. Thanks in advance

I went to 28g with 500 mesh last night. I ended up with a 5/6 wrap though. Anything less was too harsh with a pepper sort of taste. At 5/6 I'm getting approx 1.6Ohms. I like it so far...

Your wick is too far from the positive post. Get it as close as you can without touching the positive post.

I know this is a suggestion in the reference sheet, and maybe it's because I use twisted, but I found that once the wick is completely right, this doesn't matter. Here's mine for the past week and its working amazing. Mine might even be further away and it glows solid!

Made a snap decision tonight and placed an order for an iHy while they were up (got my order in around 8pm EST tonight, and i see they're sold out now until the 17th!).

I've used many VV mods, but I've recently decided I'm officially done with cartos and never want to see another one again (same with traditional atties), and after much research and internal debate, here I am.

I tried to justify it to myself by saying "well, whatever keeps me off analogs", but who the hell am I kidding, I did it cuz it friggin' looks cool and I want it.

same reasons I moved toward genesis style hybrids, you'll love it! I wonder if you bought the last one

I hear ya on that Chelsea, and my heart may change once I get to hold the thing in person, but even my smartphones I tend not to baby (no case, at the beach and out sailing all the time) and never worry about 'em too much. I just have a feeling I'm not gonna want to let the thing out of my grip once I get it, so leaving it at home won't be an option. I'll just have to splurge on some anodized color kits if mine gets too scratched up.

All I have to say is wow.. The flavor is amazing. It makes my carto tank on my provari taste like a completely dofferent juice!

For those that have trouble with hot spots....
even using the Petar K method, I still do sometimes.

If I gently blow on the coils while pulsing the button, it cools it off just enough to be able to nudge any hot spot before it pops the coil.

Good for you! I use to be a iphone fanboy untill I gor my GS2 then my eyes were opened and there were no more apple restrictions, the note 2 is a beast! If ya have any questions PM me ill be glad to help

I'm not terribly worried about damage (though i kinda am, seeing as how the only one currently in my possesion is an LE), but for me i have a hard time keeping it to where the SS isn't wicking juice out of the tank... maybe i'll try and crimp the top of my wick.

That is why the ihybrid is so great you damage or scratch a tube you just pick up a replacement could not be easier

Have you read about twisted 32 coil? You should research that in this thread or the reference sheet. That's what I use and it works great! I take the ends of the wire, tighten both under the negative post, twist the wire's loop with the Allen key until its nicely twisted coil as usual.

Was it your bottom coil that snapped? It looks a little loose in the picture. Try to get this pretty taunt between the negative post and wick

The top coil popped .. closest to the post

It will take me a few days to get used to it. I like the size and eventually ill learn to appreciate the ability to customize it
