Ihybrid reference links on the post above yours and read up on hot spots. Or just push the top of the wick (and coil) closer to the center post. And then poke away at the coil.

Hmm ok so how many wraps and what gauge? Twisted not? I would try and pull wick a little closer to center post by tightening coil a wee bit, and put a small finger nail kink in that top bridge. Or start from scratch using our trouble shooting / tips document.

Try flping the wick and re-coil.

Good evening everyone,so I'm having wicking issues out of nowhere since yesterday,drained it and dry burn but still having issues.any suggestions?it has performed flawlessly since I got it(GE v2). Maybe it's time to replace the wick?ive been using the wick for a month and a half,thanks

Have you tried the petar k method? Really effective and most ppl have little or no problems with hotspots when they use it. It is in the reference link in my sig.

You said it is only with a long drag, could be a wicking issue, as the top coil will be the first one to get dry

I have a similar wicking issue when using my 100% VG juice like Bobas. I'm using 400 SS and it just doesn't seem to keep up with my vaping when using those thick juices.

I run a 4/3 wrap twisted 32.like I said,flawless for a month and a half.when doing a dryburn,coils light up evenly. No hotspots.when filled with juice,fired with top cap off,tilted,top coil starts to glow after 3 to 4 seconds.probably a wicking issue

I almost hold mine upside down when I'm vaping my bobas! Still doesn't fix it. Oh well, have to wait until my 500 SS mesh gets here from the CO-OP and see how that does.

I deff can't chain vape as much with GJ or bobas but I get some decent long vapes without too much issue. I think imma try a bit of a different type of wick next time when I get my 500 from that co op as well. Gunna use a smaller amount of mesh with as big of a hole goig down the middle as I can make. Just havin fun trying different stuff

Yeah once I get my HR I'll be much more willing to experiment with my wick and coil. I just really don't want to go back to my cartos if I can't get something up and running. I do want to try the small wick inside another wick as I've heard it does a better job of wicking the thick stuff.

I need to give that another serious shot. I tried that but might not have let it break in enough. Hear it takes longer
