Yeah the threads are not the greatest, but not to bad... The switch is notchy and I will have to take a look at it. The wick hole is small... Still cool though. :)

standard arrived today & I'm loving it so far. one question: when I screw on cover, the "i" doesn't quite line up with wick. The "i" is about 5 mm to the right of wick. I could sand the bottom of cover a little & it would line up. or I could switch the negative post & wick hole & it would line up, if the holes are the same size. either of these recommended?

Alright so I'd hate to ask a stupid question but what the diameter of the wick you guys use? lol (Content) hahaha

Its all preference.

More important than the size of the diameter is how much mesh you use. You can use 2 inches for a 3mm diameter wick or use 3 inches.

Some people like wick in wick, some people like solid wicks.

I'm at sub 1 ohms so I like using more mesh to help with wicking.

Does it leak? I was only considering the Sdog for the easier refilling + theoretically it should leak less.

I'm not sure what you're talking about... If it's about the elite, I thought those were random post numbers for it's purpose? And that's not a question! lol I don't think 30,000 is very random, someone was posting a few times in a row to grab it and I snatched it up.

I'm confused

I dont recommend either... You know were the wick is when you put on the top cap my friend. :) Or put the tank cover on after you line it up. :)

I put orings on the threading for the tank sleeve so I can line it up. I actually like the orings since it helps with my grip.

But sanding will work too (sand the bottom of the tank sleeve). I sanded my sleeve to line up but I still use the orings.

I've gotta go practice with my band now :) see you after a couple sets...

Should we start out with Live Wire or Looks That Kill? Or Crazy Train. or any GnR?

There's gotta be some Classic Rock fans that can pick something.

Who me? I lucked into it. Vabeach helped me though ;)

Thanks Vabeach :vapor:

I vote Crazy Train....just my :2c:

I was wondering because I hear a wick without a hole in the middle works best but I find a hole works pretty well. Plus you guys vape at pretty low ohms. I sometimes have a big issue with my wick getting red hott

Again its all preference, you need to play around to find out what's best for you.

I really think the reason why Gen's are so good is that, you can make it vape how you want it (but it takes a little more time and work).

Wick with a hole will let the juice travel through the hole when you tilt the iHy enough. I don't like tilting my iHy to vape (like upwards, I think it looks silly in public).

So again its all preference. More mesh you use means more liquid is stored near the coils so you need to play around and find what's best for you.

People seem to like the wick in wick since it uses more mesh but still allows the juice to flow, I rather do all my wicking via capillary.
