Hey guys wanted to get an opinion on where and how it you thought it would be best to start this, and if you think it would even be a good idea...

An Ihy parts trade thread..

I know SD is trying to trade away his 18650 blue dragon tube, and Grruss was recently looking for an envy switch.

I have several tubes I'd like to trade (I personally don't use the 18350 so it makes sence for me to trade them for others 18650 they wont use).

Instead of having a bunch of WTT/WTTF threads, having one thread where people looking to trade parts, for other parts of the IHY.. and they could edit as the trades are found etc.

what do you think?

Where would I/we start something like this? an ongoing open thread like that wouldnt seem right in the classies, as the thread is supposed to be closed once the trade/sale is complete.. This idea would mean there would be several people all posting trades in the same thread though. You don't think it would get to confusing?

Personally I wouldn't trade mine. It came as a set, I'll keep it as a set even if I don't use it with one tube. I'd just buy the other one I wanted. That's just how my mind works. I want the complete kit.

Sounds like a good idea. I know the Reo guys have a thread like this where people go to trade Reos etc. amongst each other.

I feel you on this, and thought about the same thing for w while, then realized I have more vape gear than I keep organized already without keeping extra tubes I'll never use lol.

I think the idea is cool, but I only see this type of thing happening on Vendor Sub-Forums where they have multiple threads so they can dedicate one thread to just this type of thing.

I want an extension tube like found with a Bolt body. So I can use a kick with 18650 in my ihybrids. Should be a simple piece. I happened to see a bolt extension piece on my desk and tried it for size. Wrong threads but nearly the same diameter as the Ihybrid!

Great idea, but you should talk to Faceless about it first. I think suppliers are only allowed to have 2 threads at any given time if they don't have their own sub-forum. It might be different if it's created by fans/owners, but I'm not sure.

edit to add that some of the forum suppliers (that have their own sub) have been allowed trade threads for the products of that supplier
