I actually lost a Rottie to parvo a few years ago. She got sick all of a sudden, so I took her to the emergency vet. They kept her overnight and called me the next day to tell me she didn't make it.

It took me quite a while to decide I wanted to get another dog. I went really small this time, I have a Chihuahua named Xena. My son gave her to me for Christmas, and she's the best present ever!

I am sorry about your first dog...but it's funny you Have a Chihuahua named Xena...we have one that we name Callipiso..lol.

Morning All!!! I will know Monday how much longer if any for iv antibiotics!! Actually PICC antibiotics...lol. I am feeling better still tired though...
Faceless I am SO glad your babies are on the mend! My son is starting to get over his Flu too...gotta love anti viral meds. I am also sorry to hear about your other baby...Parvo is a hard one. It sounds like he is good and stubborn though so hopefully he will be just fine.

Glad everyone in Face's House and Nktrnal's House is feeling better (except for the pup ). Wishing everyone a relaxing day today. After doing some errands this am, my plans are to put on a nice, toasty fire then curl up w/ a book and get lost in it.

She is a wonderful girl and they crave attention, love kids like crazy. One of our family members had their 2 year old over, she kept pulling the antlers she was gnawing on out of her mouth and then putting a different one back into Gracie's mouth. She never made a peep and would just go right back to gnawing on the new one.

She was a rescue

Face Im so sorry to hear about your pup. I hope he gets better soon. Here is a pic of my buddy. Even though he isnt mine. He might as well be. I raised him almost by myself. The buddy I lived with worked and I spent most of the time with him. I would be heartbroken if anything ever happened to him. I want to say this was taken when he was about 8 months old. My mom and dad are both presidents of a spay and neuter clinic. Here Is a blurry photo of a little Yorkie that my parents took in and adopted about a month before Christmas...she weighed 3 lbs and had no hair on her back because of flees. Her owners wanted to travel so they were going to have her euthanized...she is only 4. She is just now starting to get her little hair back and has gained 2 lbs. Her name is Daisy.
