saw you mentioned a weird taste but not burnt atty taste. that sounds like you need more oxidixing on the mesh or the coils aren't tight enough around the mesh to me. Too tight and juice will be popping like crazy off the mesh. It's definitely an art

have you tried wrapping the wick with wire b4 you put it in wick hole? leave some extra kanthal on each end. bottom line don't give up because practice really does make perfect

the ihy hits HARD! using my hellraiser now, took a lil while to get set up, but its hitting like a freight train now. ended up using a 6 wrap 28guage on a skinny wick with an insulater. flavor on it is amazing.

Having a medium iH day myself, HR is kickin with Pluid and a 1 ohm coil. Std is fighting me tooth and nail (shameless dokken reference), I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

Hi!!!! Just wanted to say a thing or two. I was here from the beginning...not the first 12, but the first 50. Here's how I got my first iHy. There was a list for people interested in this NEW hybrid. I added my name to the list. When they were built, we were asked to pay, which I did. It was then shipped to me.

Then I decided I wanted in Illuminati...I read the thread, looked on FB to find when they were to be on sale. I opened the site, refreshed a few times and when the button appeared that said "add to cart"....I did! Wow, imagine that. Watching the thread, the FB site and doing as instructed. Amazing how well that worked.

What I did NOT do was whine and complain because no one held my hand and walked me through how to order something. I'm a pro at waiting....I've waited for Zens, Caravelas, here's one....Steampunk!! I've been on a list for a couple of those since at least mid summer. Do I ask every day when I'll get mine? Um, no. When it's done, I'll be notified, I'll pay and then it will ship to me....the same way that first iHY did.

Instant gratification isn't always going to happen. So, suck it up...put on your big girl (or boy) panties and lighten up.

Let me shine some light on the dark for a minute

I had planned on releasing a bunch of color tubes last week, since then I had my z axis motor go out and left me for scrambling to get out the hell raisers as people know I dont like missing deadlines, then my kids got sick, my boy was very very ill, then my dog got parvo, he is fully recovered FYI I am only 1 man and I am out performing Noah in terms of building stuff, just MO I own businesses and have families that rely on me to pay them. I have a ranch that I have to tend to.

As far as accessories out of stock, anything can be ordered anywhere, orings, screws etc. I just havent put them up because I have been trying to get caught up since the holidays, all orderes will be through a vendor until I get caught up as I dont have time to ship and pack individual orders at this time, I'm busting booty. Thats the reason I'm not in here as much at this time. If I put up 200 switches and the 201st person misses them, I'm a horrible person, I can live with it.

There are other reasons I have put colored tubes on delay and let me explain to the person that said they are a GREAT marketing person

The way I anodize has been different on a few LE's, some have anodizing on the threads and some do not, if I do it the way I want (anodized threads for thread protection) then old ihys with old switches might not work due to the switch not being fully seated, so I have been working on getting mass switches available to take care of the issue that would occur, hope that makes since, I think in advance and not in hurry and put out colored tubes and make money.

I am constantly changing things, I changed the texture of the HR's because I kept dropping the gun metal finish because it was so slick, I like the new feel as it lets me grip it better and they will all be like that from here on out, my machine is set to that finish.

I have also been working on new stuff and I wont mention it until its ready for shipping so I dont get hounded and bashed because its taking me 3 weeks to get it out.

If a ZAP is what makes you happy, I'm all for it. If a v nova makes you happy, I'm all for it. I'm all for anything vape related. Coming in here and ranting wont make anything happen faster, I work at my pace.

I dont have to even sell new switches, I could just say they are only available with new units, but being the terrible modder I am, I sell them separate so you dont have to spend $200+ to try the new switch.

No worries on the drama, its unavoidable, even God has haters (true story)

Went round and round with this. Finally caved. Dont have it in my hands yet. Supposed to be here on Tues. So the move to the Darkside isnt complete yet. Still debating on the SGS3, Note 2, HTC DNA or keeping the iPhone. Hmmmm.....Going to the store again today. I need to sort this out.

I also love it, but I get it at LJesmokes a little cheaper. Very berry full but smooth and lasting taste.

I love my iPhone. I have had all of them up to and including my iphone5. My husband has android...but he doesn't really like it. But now I love my IPad, iPhone and iPod. If you get it and need any help just let me know

I have been following this thread since it's inception. I have purchased two Ihybrids, an early standard and the original V1 Pluid LE. From my perspective, with the advent of endless LE costume changes (apparently to suck in the big buck collectors) it appears everything else has taken a back seat.

Faceless said in this thread last October that "lots' of colored tubes (and colored thread rings) would be up 'soon'. Today the Ihybrid home page still says tubes are "Coming Soon." Since October there have been numerous LE's, all with different colored tubes. That's a lot of frickin' anodizing being done yet no plain colored tubes have appeared since the original red, black and overpriced green ones sold out. Faceless has a strange definition of 'soon.'

As for buying anything from Three-One-Zero:
1. Nothing is ever available there either.
2. CA residents get slapped with sales tax.

I'm not a collector. To me the Ihy is a tool, no more no less. Parts should ALWAYS be available ahead of LE's. So far I have successfully avoided breaking a tank. If I had broken one and then experienced the interminable wait times to get a replacement, I'd have long ago sent my two units back to Faceless and told him where to shove them.

Weeks ago, when the time arrived that I could no longer simply log on the the Ihybrid home page and immediately buy a plain vanilla Ihybrid or the advertised accessories I saw the writing on the wall. No access to simple parts and endless waiting for accessories that we were told three months ago would be available 'soon' is unacceptable as a business practice. I have a life. I cannot spend all my waking hours futilely tapping F5.

I'll cheerfully agree the Ihy does perform well. However, it's not like faceless re-invented the wheel. Watching the direction the Ihybrid has taken recently, makes me love the heck out of my vivi nova based outfits. They work and are rebuildable using the same wire and mesh. AND replacement items are at my door in two days!

Speaking as someone with 4 decades of sales and marketing experience, I'd rather have many long term customers who come back regularly to make purchases than just those few who just have to have LE flavor of the month.

I think that this would be highly dependent on the class of customers that you attract. There are some who will beat the vendor up until it is no longer of any value to jump through hoops to keep them. (Only two decades of sales and marketing experience here but figured that my opinion would qualify.)
