By any chance does any body use pyrex tube/ss wicks for there ihybrid, if so what size do you use and how do you cut them?

EDIT; Reading the thread, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/351986-pyrex-ss-hybrid-wick-9.html

And good morning guys!
I wouldn't suggest cutting or annealing the glass tube yourself unless you have prior experience with it.
https://www.trippytips.com/index.php/3mm.html

If you go to that link by the generosity of Bert and another Tripster Kami they are offering free 3mm pyrex wick covers which go over the top of your wick and you wrap the coil around the glass. You still pay shipping and there is the optional donation of buying Bert a beer lol. (IF you choose not to, the option says "NO! Stick to water Bert!)

Note that this is different than the glass wick he is currently developing

You're very welcome :)

The 3mm pyrex tubes on the site are meant to fit over the top of your wick where the coil touches, they do not go all the way to the bottom as the iHy wick hole is smaller than that diameter. So just measure how much your wick protrudes above the atty part to the positive post screw and thats the length you need.

The other one he is developing is ALL glass and goes directly into the tank.

I can't stress enough though that what is on the site is not the same as the video he posted. The video is of his new glass wick he is developing, while the ones on the site are glass covers for the top of your current SS wick.

Just don't want any confusion so you know what it is lol

Boom, 6000!

Awesome glad I could help man :) Also, just pulled out my calipers and the area of my wick protruding from the atty is 12mm long. That is from the wick hole to roughly the top of the open draw screw.

Oh jeeze I had no idea this had a negative connotation, I believe i have used this a bit wrong lately.

sent from tablet

Sometimes it does mean good luck with your sale, good price, good value and not a flipper.
Other times it means I hope no one buys this at this price, you must be nuts.

Didn't you know they're changing the style of the ProVari's?

Old ones are now out of production.

Yup, like anything nice it can be said sarcastically.

Like, "You're trying to gouge $500 for a Provari + ZAP??? GLWYS" (now that the ZAP is more available than it used to be)

Smart......you only showed SOME of them :)

Oh.. the Ihydrid collection has begun. This thing is very impressive. I had a rough time setting it up yesterday, busted 3 coils on the 500 as there was so much power going to the coil, and very little voltage loss under load.

This Ihy hits like a champ.
