Bliss looks smart on the provari mate, might give mine a go on mine off the paps

BliSS sits very nicely on the PAPS.

BliSS looks great with the Provari but even better with a "Pro ring" to go with it :)

Enjoy:

Alright... so I've gone through a whole tank on this wick and I'm still not getting strong, clean flavor. 2x3" #500 mesh cut to just below the positive post and not touching the bottom of the tank. Rolled the wick so it slides in and out of the wick hole with minimal resistance. 4/3 wrap of 32ga Kanthal. Coiled on the wick because the PeterK method was driving me crazy with some of the coils touching good and others not touching enough. Coil lights evenly. No hotspots after some tweaking. After a full tank the flavor is still muted. Using an 18350 until my 650s come in. I have to take a few primer puffs to get full vapor. Seems to take a while for the coil to heat. I'm not getting anywhere near the instant glow I've seen from other people's iHy vids.

Any ideas on what may be going wrong? I'm getting good vapor production after the coils finally heat up but no throat hit and weak flavor. Vaping Pluid. Coil and mesh also are gunking up pretty bad after a couple hours. Coils are all touching the mesh, if they were tighter they would restrict wicking. The biggest thing is that it takes so long for the coils to glow when they're dry. Like maybe I'm getting a big voltage sag/droop somewhere in the chain. I've done noalax on the threadings and tube ends and cleaned it off to get nice clean surfaces.

I'm at a loss.

My provari days are over, but they should make them with a flush top.
It looks great.

Hm... Do you have a multi meter? If so test the resistance of your switch to see if that's where your voltage loss is. That would be my first guess.
And what the wrap and gauge of the coil you got goin? Hard to imagine muted Pluid flavor...

Edit: Saw your 4/3 32g... missed it first read.

Sounds like you rolled your wick too fat, causing the length of the kanthal to be longer, meaning your wrap will get less hot as there is more resistance. The gunk/buildup is because your wick is wicking too much juice for your coil to handle.

4/3 wrap of 32 kanthal is what he said :) Lots of gunk/buildup and muted flavor. Coil takes too long to heat up. I'm thinking wicks too fat

Couple of things

1. check the switch make sure it is clean and screwed in all the way
2. check the screws in the atty for both the neg and pos make sure they are tightened down
3. you might want to drop a wrap on the coil, personal preference there tho
4. check your battery, make sure it is fully charged, the 18350's will die quicker while setting up and as it should have been partly drained to start with might not have the power to give a good vape
5. check that you are not over wicking and boiling your juice
