Maybe try lightly pulse firing to a dry burn, then wiggle out the hotspot til it glows even. Just don't lay on the switch cause a short can easily turn into a broken coil. :0 My lunchbox at work has just about everything needed for a full wick/coil setup nowMan this wick is killing me right now...my juice tastes burnt/metallic and I know it's cause I have a short somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm ready to just make a new wick altogether, cause this one is falling apart, but I'm at work. Been vaping this all day!

Picked up a standard Ihy today which has the first switch on it.
Is it possible to sand down the height on this to reduce the throw?

I tried sanding the delrin to get rid of the "kick gap" once. If you do that, check often! You can end up with a self-firing mod. Don't know about lessening the throw.
Had a look at that but not really a great deal of height in the delrin piece, given my luck with delrin pieces in the past I'll leave it well alone
when Fac gets the switch upgrade kits out it will lessen the throw on the old switches
I have a hotel room in NewYork and in Chicago. But I need to get rid of my PICC line first lol. I would hate to have to pay someone to go with me lol...and then that stupid biopsy...oh well happy thoughts!! If I have to pick just one though it sounds like I will be Chicago bound.

Posting a check point, 3 day lots of pages friggn flu killing me, today is first day I'm not shaking I actually broke 3 tanks yesterday trying to change out a flavor and cleaning, got SS tanks in today should solve that problem but using a zmax/lr306 because I don't have energy to wrap a coil miss my Ihybrid.
