"new" button size is 19mm

you could "turn" the old button on a lathe, but it would most likely interfere with your old engraving (at least on my spider it would...)

Ok guys my juice keeps turning dark. I have done everything but the wick is touching the glass toward its bottom. It isn't touching the bottom of the tank just the side. When I make sure the lead on the wire is as short as possible from the post to the wick it is almost impossible for me to get the wick close enough without touching the glass. Any advice???

closest without touching is a nice way to try and fix hotspots, but personally I say "farthest without hotspotting"

darkening of the juice is more attributed to heated/unspent juice in the wick wicking back down... I too get it occasionally, tried a few methods to remove it, but I've just chalked it up to a bad wick.

Hi J, i think you might have a short. Not a har short but a minor one. Do have a look at the coils. Was having something like you the other day. Nudging helps. And tight coils.

Name is Paul from central Nj, 40 years old 3 kids 6y girl, 4y girl , and almost 2y boy, and have been with my wife 21 years. I tried to kiss her when we were like 10 years old so I have known her forever.

Currently unemployed because I want to spend some time with family and taking a college course. But for the last 16 years I worked my way up the latter in a large truck leasing company to be (laid off) when 1 of my employees relocated and came back 8 years later with a promotion. Let's say we had our differences.

I quit smoking the night of hurricane Irean with a ego-t and a case of Budweiser defending the basement.

I enjoy helping folks more then folks helping me but I'm also quiet and normally do it through pm and not out in the open.

Ok that's me I left out I spend to much on vaping, wife thinks I'm crazy hates ECF blah blah blah the normal stuff.

Name is Vince, 44 live in NJ by Seaside Heights where that stupid show Jersey Shore was filmed. Still trying to get back to normal from Hurricane Sandy.
I work for DuPont manufacturing Sulfuric Acid (about 700 tons per day)
Smoked for 31 years and stopped for some small stints over the years but Vaping has helped me QUIT forever.
I have many and varied interests like ATVing, camping, fishing, shooting, hunting, scuba, gaming, and family time while doing most of the above.
At one time I volunteered at a local Aquarium to dive/clean/perform in a shark tank with about 25 sharks. Did this for about 2 1/2 years till they required a dive physical at a cost of $650 and didn`t take insurance.
I love this thread and I think the people here are AWESOME.

I feel like I'm at a corporate training class and I have to do the weird introduction but here it goes.

I'm Matt, 33 with 4 kids, 3 girls ages 15, 1 1/2 and 6 months, one boy 10 this month. Wife drives me nuts but she is all I got at this point all these kids don't make a very enticing match.com profile.

I'm fairly new to vaping but I have ran through a ton of gear and pretty much settled on IHybrids and hellfires. Temon/poldiac are next.

Have been a Bears season ticket holder for five years, enjoy music, poker, and camping/fishing/hiking, work from home crunching numbers for a big company. Also enjoy run on sentences and avoiding grammar.

we actually shoot the commercials for the stl. cardinals down here in florida every year (perhaps you've seen the "Play Like A Cardinal commercials) met all those guys several times. mark mcgwire is a consumate gentleman in real life, and tony larussa is just as grizzled and sour as he looks. carpenter is the man though, he's always been down for whatever crazy ideas we wanna shoot and will stick around afterwards to chat as long as he can.

How's the flavor? If you're tasting something off but not burnt atty sounds like you have a short. Don't want the wick to be touching the bottom of the tank (although faceless said not a prob for him) but touching the glass is no big deal. Also, make sure the top of the wick isn't above the positive screw or you could be hitting the top cap when you put it back on. Is the top cap getting hot? That could be your problem.

I think you might want to remove all your juice from the tank and torch the mesh a little more. Rewrap making sure the coils are tight but not choking the wick. Don't fill it with juice until you have nice even coils. I had this problem at first too with darkening juice and more oxidizing seemed to resolve the issue.

One of my new things is To heat my coils red with a pen torch a few times before firing it. So wick is in coil is wrapped take my pen torch and heat coils/wick together while installed in mod a few times, cuts back on time it takes to heat using battery and has (I THINK) helped me. It is also how I do my dry burns I don't use battery anymore.

I also remove black oring when I do it not recommending just saying what I do.

I worked VIP at Bristol Speedway...it's funny...I was I charge of feeding the "worker bees" lunch and dinner...Aprox 1000 people then I worked VIP. One day I had a man walk up and introduce himself.."Hello, I am Casey Kahne"...we were slammed...I had no idea who he was..lol. I just looked at him and said "Hello, I am Amie Green, ya staff?". He told me he was hungry, so I said I had time to make him a bologna sandwich. My head chef came up and got him a plate of food. Lucky for me he laughed it off. Oh well!!

IF the taste is okay and there is no other issue, then I don't worry about the darkening. Common things to alleviate it are drawing an extra second after you stop pushing the button, tilting the PV more, etc. I think if the coils are a little too loose, then it is more likely for the juice to darken... But I don't think it's a big deal....

we all know they wont fit. I told someone else earlier i'd measure for them, so I measured with my dial caliper and posted the measurements... old buttons CAN fit in new ones, just takes a little work.

Successfully shortened the throw on the Hell Raiser switch... when i push the button it does NOT move at all, but still fires... like a touch control now, nice
