vape mail. Had a few minutes to roll a wick and get it set up real quick.

I've been considering picking one of these up for a while, they look nice.

my two hangups:

steel tank, can't see the juice level, I'm spoiled and have not ever used anything that didnt allow me to see my juice.

18350 bat's, don't own any dont want any really, I go through two+ 18650 a day I don't want to change batteries that much.

The sidewinder is the only mod I've seen that makes me consider overlooking these though, and I'll probably pick one up some day.

whats up everyone! postman just dropped the ihy standard off at the house! unfortunatly im at work until 6. so the wait begins
so on these gaskets, what size fits?
Here ya go :)

Oh, orings are size 5/8" OD 1/16" thick. All 3 of them. You don't have to remove any orings to remove tank, just twist the tank off. If you want a super tight and I meen super tight top cap fit, use a 3/4" OD with 1/16" thick wall. But I designed it to all be the same. I include a tight fit oring with all orders, even the ones I just shipped. The allen wrench is a 7/64 and thats for both screws. The positive screw is knurled and doesnt really need a tool. Orings of the sizes I mentioned can be found at ace hardware for about .10 cents.

A lot of this info is on the spreadsheet. The tank o'rings are 5/8" with a 1/16" wall. The top cap ring is 11/16" with a 1/16" wall.

Lol how do you think I found that so fast?

LadyStrick has put together a fantastic iHybrid thread reference sheet strout. Found HERE and in lots of our signatures.

Hope that helps :)

Yeah, and I know Faceless says they're all the same size, but the 11/16" for the top cap really is a better fit, it prevents the cap from knocking loose in my pocket. Also, I strongly advise against trying to take the tank off without removing that top ring first. A few people have broken their glass trying to do this.

Oh and an addendum to faceless post on the o-rings. You don't have to remove the orings to remove the tank but removing the top o-ring makes it a hell of a lot easier :)

EDIT: (I've decided addendum is my new favorite word... Pretty sure that it is the first time I've ever said/typed that)

You kicked the kid off your avatar for the dog huh? cute dog anyway :p

Yup. Love my daughter but had to switch it up for one of my best friends over the last decade. He died last night :(

Oh man....

To me that's like losing a member of the family. I'm a dog person and love my pooches.

My condolences to you and your family. It's tough.

No idea of timing, but there will be a quartz tank and other goodies (likely a 510 connection) available in the future.
The stainless tank really doesn't bother me as its a higher capacity than my other out & about APV's anyway, and its REALLY nice knowing its not going to break...

The battery thing is all personal preference, the iHy is the only thing I ever use 18650s in anyway, so it suits me well. Conductivity in it is great so the 18350's seem to last longer than in some other devices. Pretty much on par with my iHy in 18350, only surpassed by the Ti.

Thanks guys. He was a really good dog, his breath was awful but other than that he was the best friend a guy could ask for. And even tho his breath was horrible it was because he was making up for the cat that liked to poop all around the house.. He was very protective but only attacked one person in his life, who turned out to be a very bad person anyway...

We will all miss him greatly, but we know he is in a better place. :(

I have no say in the matter, but I think you've been a big contributor to the thread and to Ihy's in general (engraving LE's and all).

I vote for a Dog LE and we name if after him. Betcha a doggie LE would sell really well anyway. I imagine you could figure out how to engrave that pick you used for your avatar (or close to it) and a dogbone cutout on the tank protector.

and make it brown, the color of all the cat poo he used to eat LOL
