Hmm... put the base metal battery tube back on and it's working fine now. How strange. The green one was working fine for a few days. I guess I'll go get a little wire brush and try to clean those threads on the inside of the green tube. I'm rather perplexed though, no ox id should have made the contact even better.

Try polishing the threads on the Anodized tube? Maybe Faceless missed a spot when cleaning the threads.

The anodizing would kill current.

Hi everyone. I just bought and received my iHybrid off the cassys and I really like it. Great job on these Faceless.:toast: This is my first hybrid genny APV and I was wondering what is the benefit of magnets for the switch? Also was there a different type of tube material used with the first run of these? Was the first run of these made with the fused quarts tank? After I bought mine I tried to clean it and cracked the tank trying to put it back on the device. Good thing it was sent with spar tank so I could use it. I'm glad to see your site is up and running Faceless. Its so tempting to get another especially since you've done the price drop. Thanks for a great APV.

Yes, the first run wasnt flame polished or annealed so it made them brittle (more easy to crack) Your spring is probably the old spring also. The magnets will never give out. A spring will lose its compression over time. I have upgraded to magnets also and I'm thinking of shipping them that way, its up in the air :)

Oh ok. I was just adding things to my cart and saw that the magnets were sold out. Are you going to have them back in stock soon?

I have a question for yall. I have the 18650 kick tubes ready. I was thinking of doing a kick sleeve, for 2 reasons.

1. Kick sleeve for the 18350 tube to make the 18490 with a kick fit without a gap.
2. It would be available by itself in colors to make the ihybrid be able to have 3 different colors (ex: red tank sleeve, white kick sleeve, blue battery tube) what do yall think? I could also do away with the 18650 tube and make the extension sleeve to support the 18650 also. It would cut cost and the new units would be: full unit, 18350 tube with a 18650 extension and a 18490 kick extension and sell the 18650 kick tubes seperate. The price on the iHybrid kit would drop to $199. What do yall think? It would be version 2 :)

I have them now, but I'm changing it to 5 thinner ones instead of 2 thick and 1 thin, same price though. I will go add them now, give me 5 minutes

I personally like one continuous tube for the battery.

me too, I just liked the idea of 3 color madness lol. I'll just make the 18490 kick sleeve for the 18350 to do away with the gap, that way its optional. You can buy it and have 3 colors or just use an oring to fill the gap and not buy it :)
