you will have to upload it onto your facebook or copy the link to that particular picture on FB. posting the link won't be enough for a banner though.
had to go back and reread it.. it really depends on where you plan on putting it. if it's just a newfeed post, the link will be fine.. If you want it as part of your timeline, you will need to upload it.
