Cut Alaska in half and make Texas the third largest state.

LOL! That's great. If Alaska is 1/2 as nice as Texas I'm sure I'd like it. I've lived all over the US and Texas was tied for first place on my list of nice places to live. The other is where I am now. My least favorite was Northern CA with Memphis coming in at a close 2nd. Baltimore/DC was pretty nice, South Korea is pretty nice, Wisconsin where I grew up is probably my 3rd favorite and very similar to NY.. but it doesn't have Timmy so NY wins. =)

I still don't know why Canadians come to Alaska to visit.

Well I'm Canadian...

and the last time I went to Alaska was to play on a hockey tournament :D ... we rotated our hockey tournaments to places we had companies and we own several in Alaska.

and no joke, we ran into your most famous Alaskanite(SHE SEES RUSSIA ON FROM HER HOUSE) and took some pictures with her.

I should be sleeping, I have a U Haul to unload tomorrow. But I got a call around 7PM that a friend had died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle wreck up at Deals Gap. We weren't super close, but we were friends, and I always enjoyed hanging out and riding with him. He was one of those guys you couldn't help but like, he was young (24yo), USMC stationed at Cherry Point, and a great rider and funny as hell. I just can't shake it, and can't sleep. Any religious peeps, please pray for his family. Sean, I'll miss you buddy.

I'm sorry to hear that. My condolences.

Alas this is why motorcycles and I do not have a good relationship. 2 dead friends and 1 that will never walk right again. It's usually never the motorcyclists fault but you never get a second chance.

Hang in there WNC. :(
