I make pretty nifty origami flowers..

Faceless - will a DWG file work? That's the only format I can see that photoshop or my modeling program will export that might be remotely useful for you.

If you have AutoDesk Inventor (I think this version) you can convert DWG to IGES.

Hold on.. lemmy see if Modo can do it. If not I can get an .obj file to our resident Maya expert, I'm sure an autodesk program can export at leas tone of those. (I haven't bothered installing Maya since I got the new computer)

no pressure :) if these get delayed its your fault lmao

I was going to suggest Corel Draw, cdr file?

Heh, we need an IGES or Step file which is a CAD format.

Fisty, one of the free AutoDesks will convert DWG to IGES but if you do it, might want to make sure it converted correctly.

Can't remember which version.

These are the file formats I can save as right now.. please tell me if any of them will work or if you know of a converter to make any of these into IGES or Step.

Rhino3d has an evaluation version that lets you convert its format to IGES. No idea if it adds a watermark though.

Wish I was more help. Haven't touched IGES since college.

If you can't do those formats, Fisty, I can in Maya - let me know.

Yeah, I've never touched anything resembling CAD.

I only have the graphic in a few layers of masks made with vectors and the 2D JPG I sent Faceless a couple days ago.. I'll have to import the 2D image into my modeling program on a plane, model it on top like tracing, and then try to figure out some way to convert it since I apparently don't have any programs that can do it. I've never used Rhino.. Blender might be able to do it but trying to get Blender to do anything is like trying to fly an airplane through a watermelon storm with an angry cat attached to you face.

It would probably be a lot easier and a lot quicker for you to just trace it in CAD. The whole thing was done with circles/ovals.
