Hey Everyone,

Wanted to introduce myself. Been silently reading (i guess that's stalking!) for a while now, wanting an Ihyrbrid since the first post here! I was able to purchase a unit on the classy's a couple of weeks ago - super stoked! My unit came without a tank, so I've been going crazy the last week or so waiting for tanks to come in to stock.

Anyways, wanted to say to all the regulars on this thread that you all are awesome! I really appreciate all the input you guys give, to those who need setup help, have questions and everything else that pops up.

So I expect you all will see me with questions here soon too :)

Thanks,

Ben

You can get the Standard metal tank at HoH, in a pinch. I have one... :)

Looks like I have vape mail waiting on me at home, and a I bought a nice new leaf blower I get to break in when I get home too.

So....am I sucking to hard if it whistles at me?

Yep, slow down just a bit, and let the vapor come to you. It took me about a week to get used to the airy draw, I hated it at first. Now I gripe when I vape anything with even the slightest bit tighter draw.

Virginia is for vapers
For anyone curious, I got my eFest 18350 button tops today. In the iHy, there is only the TINIEST bit of a hairline gap. You can have the gap in the top of the tube, or the other end of the tube where it meets the switch (my preference). When I say the gap is tiny, I mean that you cant really notice it unless you are really looking for it.

Welcome Ben!! This community is awesome for helping out, so if you do have any questions at all do not be scared to ask someone will help you :) What you can do if you didnt want to wait for a tank till you can vape, is buy a 20cc syringe and cut it to length, that will fit the device perfectly :)

Thank you for the welcome! And sweet news on the syringe.... I can pick one up today locally from this cool little drugstore here in town.

Thank you for the info - a metal tank would be awesome to have in case I pull a DOH and break a tank!

I'm off to grab a syringe, and order up a metal tank :) Thanks guys!

I'm curious how the efest 18650's I got today will fit.

yeah and fisty lives about an hour and 15-20 min from me so we can also do a local swap i think :)

Yup. =) Though we live on the far west side of Rochester so have to add about 25 minutes to get around to the other side of town to hop on the tollway. We can arrange to meet half way I guess. I'll have to figure out where that is. We'll be in Syracuse on the 27th, still have to talk to Tim's mom and make sure it's okay to have 2 dinner guests instead of the 1 I already cleared with her.. but I don't foresee it being an issue. Tim's folks are cool as hell.

Faceless, no one, and I mean no one, can keep up with you.

I can. LOL

Surely you've heard something like this, "Easy, baby. Not so hard... There you go. That's it. Nice and slow..."

Doesn't it always "pay off"?

You'll do fine, Kate.

Oh nice, thanks for the update. Just ordered more EFESTS yesterday.

Wish they had the MNKE and and the Panasonics in 18350 or 18500 sizes.

yeah one of the very thin o-rings works great for that, as I have one as well, the new switch tho will take care of that completely
