So here's a question that I haven't seen asked. BTW I'm loving the new switch, it looks like it's a vast improvement. My question is, will the new switch still be able to use magnets or would it not even be needed? I would assume that since the throw is so much shorter that the magnets would be extraneous.

I'd like to try both. Magnets are appealing to me as they won't lose tension over time. Ever wonder how many times the button gets hit in a day? A week? A Year? Springs wouldn't stand up to that abuse for to long.

Exactly, my experience with GG devices taught me this....those were good for at most a year for me typically 6 month....just the nature of a spring mechanism.

No I think spring is smother than Magnets, as my Zenesis is Magnets and all who replace it to spring they said it's much better

well will agree to disagree on this, tho I do know many of us like the magnets better in the iHy. I don't own and haven't used a zen to say with them,

I haven't been tho, I been kinda watching since then, but I haven't been here much longer than you have Max

Well, at least you know whats going on lol. I'm so lost most the time I don't know which way is up. If not for my wife I'd prob be babbling on some street corner and walking around the same block multiple times thinking I'm getting somewhere lol.

hi Ash, yes i'm doing pretty fine right now. Hope you're ok too ?

Well I don't own a iHybrid yet, so can't tell you very about it.
What I do know is that the original Zen spring was to stiff/ strong for my little finger, so I replaced that one with a fine less stiffer Caravela spring, that's working just great on my Zen mini.
