Virginia is for vapers
I haven't used NURBS, it is one of the two ways I can do SL sculpts, the other way is with a plugin that is easier. Tho I may very well be learning NURBS soon, as they are not releasing a free version of the plugin for blender 2.5 and up and my partner and I have issue with telling new people they have to get a $30 plugin just to try basics to see if they will even use it. So we are looking at work arounds for any paid plugins for our classes in blender
I use MoI to do most of my NURBS stuff when I am not in Maya. It is developed by the same guy that started Rhinoceros. Its fanatically simple and affordable, but it does not have any rendering capabilities, so I usually export out and import into Blender for rendering in cycles, or I use Octane (another unbiased render engine).

Is there an award for best avi ever?

Or unless you start selling furniture to keep buying APVs. That can't be healthy. ;-) lol I agree, I love vaping.

Absolutely, it "can" be, just look at Mr. P! He pulled it off. I just don't think that's the majority by any means. Most people, myself included look at it as a safer replacement. Even if I dropped to 0 nic, I still just thoroughly enjoy vaping..

vaping can be a "true" cessation method. People that plan on quitting altogether though step down the nic in there juice - just as patches step down the transdermal nic.

I hear those dreams can be pretty vivid, that could be fun...
That's great to hear for sure. I wasn't willing to try Chantix after seeing how it affected others that I knew personally, some of whom were close friends. No thanks, not for me.

How is your son doing BTW?

While I have other programs, I stick to blender as my partner Graham and I teach blender inside of SL. Because of how SL works I have never even used the rendering in it. What we try to do tho is show people the stuff they will need for doing sculpts and mesh there in a simplified way, as Blender is a very complex program that scares most people. Hell even I had installed it and uninstalled it about a dozen times before I actually learned how to use 2.49.

The new interface with 2.5 and up is very nice and easier for noobs, but I held onto 2.49. Had even still been teaching it up til 2 months ago, but as it is a major pain for anyone on Linux to get the older one I am finally using 2.63.

Yeah, I have been using Blender for a long, long time and I am on Linux most of the time. Its amazing to see what it is now compared to what it was 6 years ago. SL - I heard that there is potential to make money selling models for SL. Is that true? I sell a lot of models On TurboSquid, and actually pull in quite a bit of supplemental income there. You can see my stuff here.

Thanks for asking, He is doing very well. He was able to return to school today, and has been over 24 hrs. w/o symptoms. He has had a bad headache since the incident, understandably but that has subsided too. I and my wife had everyone we knew praying for him and sending well wishes. I am not a superstitious person per se, but I do believe in Karma. He is just ...... now, because we are restricting his activity and not allowing him to be the maniac that he is accustomed to being. I am sooooo grateful, you will understand when you have kids, I would rather cut off my own arm than to see one of them suffer.

I wanted to comment on your step dad's incident, but by the time, I got caught up it was long gone. Sounds like a tough old bast*rd. You know it is hard coming to grips with aging physically, you want to pretend you are young as long as possible. When you helped him flip the mower back did he say "meant to do that."?

I'm like that too. Glad to hear you have a good relationship with him. My older boy's are step's too and I have a great relationship with them as well. You wouldn't know that they are not mine except I'm 5'8" and they are both over 6'3". I get crazy looks when I introduce them as my son's.

That's good to hear considering how it could have gone, I sure remember scaring the crap out of my folks a few times

Yes it is, tho not as much as a few years ago, but many of my friends who model cash out a few hundred a month. I have, tho let thing slide too much after my eye surgeries so am just now really getting everything moving again like I should have.

EZ Flavor club update: I just filled my tank with Sweet Tangerine and it is really good. I mixed 10% flavor to my base (18% nic,42% PG,40%VG)

Forgot to add the steep info: I steeped for 3 days.

That's EZ'S CRAPPY Flavor Club, mister. And, yeah, the tangerine is a win. I mixed it with VZ mango. Yummy flavor I call TANGO!

Hi there Fisty & Paul ...

FessLess you need to do order for that SS Polish iHy from now :D
Bud you need to be respectful of the name that FACELESS has chosen for himself and call him by his name. Just an observation, I personally don't like it when folks slaughter my nick

This is INDEED good news. Nothing worse than realizing that your child is permenantly affected by a TBI (traumatic brain injury) I worked with a lot of clients that had nothing more than that and it made their lives incredibly difficult. The love of my life and I were involved in a car accident and she suffered a TBI and completely forgot me winning her affections and her parents used the opportunity to turn her against me and I had to convince myself she died in that accident to deal with the loss. Glad to see your kiddo is ok though.

So, here's the thing about that, IMO...

The problems that trigger an error on the ProVari are actual real problems, the mechanical mods just push through them. Which isn't always best case. A short that fires on a mechanical mod, is still a short that will have some impact on vapor production, flavor, battery life, or all of the above..

Not saying there's anything at all bad about mechanical mods as thats 99% of what I use, just saying that the errors on a ProVari shouldn't be looked at as an inconvenience as much as a learning experience... A genesis atty on a ProVari is a fantastic way to get comfortable with proper wick / coil set-up IMO as it forces you to fix issues IMO...

Well said I'm only a few months into genesis attys and while I picked it up quick IMO I started with them on a provari.
Often I had no idea at the beginning something was wrong with my coil/wick ..... it was a great teacher and now I run weeks at a time with no errors. I'm usually in the 1.2 to 1.4 ohm range and between 4.0 and 4.6 volts. Every now and then I run my AC9 on a SS telescope with 18350 and if it acts weird I throw it back on the provari to check for errors.

So long story short ..... I like a device smarter than me that can alert me to massage my coil :D
