If you are referring to the ceramic, apparently that issue was supposed to be corrected and the heating wasn't required. That's why I held off on doing it.

I never had any issues with the taste due to the ceramic but that's just one man's buds talking.....easiest wick/coil setup I've encountered as well. Do be sure you wash all the "bits" as pointed out previously.
