How is my favorite thread doing today? I have been out and about and busy and will continue to be, so... BUT I got my 9/11 iHy from K-Man and I am so happy! The engraving is beautiful! Thanks K-Man - very nice of you to let me have it.
Of course, the same gripe applies - stuff doesn't always aline. It came with a nice transparent O-ring (was that included or did K-Man add it?). I could probably use another one, where do I get it?

The 9/11 SE came with the clear O ring to put on the threads, prior to installing the Tank Cover to help line it all up.
I kinda like my tubes and sleeves NOT to line up - it make details viewable from more than one angle

Gave up on Petar K... Just oxidized the wick and wrapped a coil around it. I am happier.
Happier than you were with your previous attempt, or happier than you are wrapping it "old school"...?
So I've just found out that having tendonits in your right thumb does not make rolling mesh much fun
Yeah, the reason I was trying Petar K was that my juice was discoloring and tasting nasty. My theory was that I was over oxidizing the wick. I thought, "Well, I hardly have to oxidize the wick at all, if I use Petar K, right?" The problem I had was making the wick the right size for the coil. In the end, I just turned off the torch sooner. I decided it's easier to fit the coil to the wick than it is to fit the wick to the coil.
