so if someone wanted to order a standard, they should wait?

its going to be personal preference, the standard units will be clear anodized (this eliminates the need for noalox by the way I am doing it) the switch will be upgraded and have reversed threading (lock ring will turn opposite of the way it does now) the clear anodizing will look like gun metal, I'll post side by side comparisons this coming week.

The Pros: no need for noalox, tough to scratch, threads will be as strong as SS (though there shouldnt be a problem as it is now)
The cons: you cant paint or anodize urself, you cant polish it to give it that chrome look

with that being said, there are only 3 v1's left on the site :) Its all up to personal preference (I might keep both versions in stock, its undecided) the reason for the change is because I have to chuck one side of the battery tubes to thread the other side which can cause marks and I have to buff all of them. anodizing removes a layer and that will eliminate the buffing process and make it easier for me to keep up with demand, which is why I started this :) I hate waiting, lots of impatient people like me I assumed

Hi Faceless, when are the green tank thread sleeves available on your website?

Taking them to anodize monday if they are open, takes 3-4 days for the anodizing process

So. How does one aquire one of these new ihybrid drip tips. I REALLY want one.

They are only available through future LE's and the 14500 model, they are the horns of my unicorns lol

A few hints for you on that top coil. Lean just slightly towards the positive post helps close that disrance. Make sure wick is well oxidized and not touching the bottom of rhe tank just close

As much as I've read about the dang things I tried all of that on my first one, but I will oxidize more and give it another go. Thanks for the tips. We shall see what I can get going. I didn't expect to get it right on my first go, however cool that might have been lol

You don't have to oxidize just be really good at getting out the shorts. Start at the top of the coil and where ever it stops glowing work there till it moves down the coil to the bottom.

I've heard that oxidizing isn't required... I was watching Blaine's video of the Petar K method. I will give that a shot being that he made it look so easy. But thanks for the hints LH, everything helps being so new to this genesis thing. :)

And BTW, that's a good looking truck!

Got a friend getting an iHy - his first PV ever. He will be coming over after he gets it for wick rolling / coil wrapping class :)

I need this class apparently... If only VA was closer lol
This is by no means my first PV, but filling cartos and popping them on one of my mods has not prepared me for what I'm attempting right now.
