Can anyone tell me what is, if there is one, the difference between Kanthal A-1 and D ???
Wharf- kanthal uses the letter to denote different compositional make ups and hearing temp maximums. Some of their stuff has some metals you don't want to inhale. I would stick with a-1
A-1 can take more extreme heat I think. But I've heard for our purposes both are fine. I think my MO should have been received by now but not able to check tracking at the moment

Saw one go for 600 the other day so I justified it. Plus I really did not know. But I am happy I will have my first zen
It will ship on the same day as the Ihybrid so I will probably get both of my first rebuildables on the same day..

And how long and wide in inches do you cut the SS mesh to roll wicks for a standard zen.
And how long and wide SS mesh for the I hybrid I want to get some oxidized and rolled!

The Zen should come with pre-rolled pre-oxidized wicks. I think he cuts them to 15mmx50mm. I cut the ones I got ready for the iHybrid to 30mmx50mm... I hope they work.

The one I got doesnt come with wicks so I was going too make my own
I also paid 350 like three weeks ago in this forum for my Zen, and to tell you the truth it been the best PV I've own. So I don't feel to bad about spending the 350 on it now.

This is what it all came with
Zen Standard with case 1 spare quartz tank 2 spare poly tanks, two post's screws and washers spare magents 5 in total bunch of spare orings new button fire everytime.
No... Educated guess... It doesn't have a wick insulator like the Zen, so I assumed there would be room for a thicker wick. Hope I'm right.
Did he? I remember hanging on the edge of my seat for a reply, but don't remember there being one... At least not a serious one. What was it Amber?
