Maleko...is the coupon still good for customs? I didn't get around to ordering anything and I'm mesmerized by that little donut turtle!!! I finally thought of something to get.

Yep hurry though the coupon was off but then Bert extended it for awhile.

Two tips are you have to be logged into your acount on the website and befor you clikc add to cart the quantity will be 0 next to the button so change that to 1.

I have a juice tasting better question. I understand that the answer may not be readily available as many of you don't have yours yet, but perhaps Face or the original 12 can chime in.

I noticed that my favorite juice did not taste as good in a DID as it did in my Zenesis. I'm finding that the same juice in my iHybrid is tasting the same as it does in a DID....not as good as in my Zen. I know it's probably the wick or the wrap. At the moment I have a fat wick and a 4 wrap coil on it. It hits great and tons of vapour, just doesn't taste quite as good. It doesn't taste a pure. Ideas?

It will have a lot to do with the draw. If its not as open, it will burn hotter because of less air. That top cap was redesigned on V1 for that purpose. Try raising your drip tip up a little away from that positive screw, it might be so close it causing a tighter draw, let me know. I adjusted the top cap on the new one to implement 2 different screws, one for a tighter draw and one for an open draw.

Faceless, can you let me know if you got my MO? The list hasn't been updated in awhile and I'm sorta sweatin this. :D

I got it, yours ships tomorrow

@K-Man: the answer is readily available, actually... But the specifics are hard to know... Here's my understanding of it: It's all in the airflow. Zen is not making that up. The way "our" vapor works, PG/VG are hygroscopic which means they attract humidity from the air and water "joins" the vapor stream increasing it's volume at all times. If there is not enough air (with water) to join the vapor then the vapor doesn't expand fully and that affects both the vapor production and the taste.

The way eccentric wick atomizers work better than center wick ones is due to airflow hitting the wick from a side. The amount of air and even the speed of flow influence the results, obviously. Zen devices achieve a circular airflow that forces air to go round and round and over the wick again and again producing more vapor and thicker / more saturated vapor in the process. The position of the wick and the size of the airhole are probably the key variables. The only difference here, with the iHy, would be the absence of the "hat" - the "mushroom" center post screw in the Zenesis that may or may not play a significant role in keeping the circular airflow more steady before air can escape towards the draw hole...

DID, first and foremost, has too small an air hole. I am positive of that. Try unscrewing the top cap a little and vape - the vape is thin and not saturated because now there is really too much air, but the flavor is better! Second, it may be that the vaporization chamber is too small for the vapor to fully expand. Not sure. Some people say a smaller chamber leads to better flavor, some just praise the hotter vape. I don't know, but my gut feeling is that a larger and especially taller chamber makes for better vapor, both in volume and taste...

Don't come at me with sticks and stones - this is just my opinion based mostly on what other people said, and on minimally rigorous observations of my own...

You're a freakin genius! I think that's it. I could only find one tip to fit it, one of the cheap freebies that comes with a DID. I just removed it completely and does taste better already!

I agree, thats why I made some minor adjustments to the top cap. Sticks and stones? Its 2012 lol, people come with guns and debate lol

hey everybody!!

Congrats on the trade maleko, I would trade almost all my vape gear for a ZAP, I just love my provari.

Faceless, you got my payment correct?

I like the look of the glass tips, but can't seem to bring myself to buy one because they just remind me too much of my days as an herbalist:oops: and I don't want anyone misconstruing what is is I am actually doing. I already have had lots of people ask, thinking that was such the case and I had to correct them. But hearing all these wonderful things, and with my new ASH and an IHY on the way I might just pull the trigger on a modestly colored non eccentric one. One ? about them tho, do their colors intensify the more you vape through them?

Thanks elf. It's not likely I'll be touching my DID's anytime soon. I'm enjoying the iH way too much for that. Just trying to understand the difference in flavour between it and the Zen and achieving it. I'm confidant that the changes Face has made will go a long way to that end.
