He let the cat out and I think everyone missed it.

Nope, atty adapter that is kickable. :)

I went and read both those other forums and really thought about responding but after a minute I chose not to sink to their level.

It seems the general consensus on both is that Faceless should include a disclaimer and give credit to everyone that came before him. I have never seen any other modder do such a thing but also don't see anyone pointing that out either. They say it's a mix or an Orion/Katana/Zenesis.

Orion has the ability to use two different size batts but zero ability to kick, and they are not separate one piece tubes but sections that screw together.

Katana has a tank guard, so does the iHybrid, so do some of the Hellfires, so does another device on one of the other forums (name escapes me).....who came first cause they must have a patent on that idea and it prevents anyone else from doing the same....guess the originator has a case for complaint against all those I have listed and those that are still to come. Oh but this is the first from the US, so maybe that has some kind of duality in meaning in their feeble minds.

Should I list every device that has a locking switch, or just the ones that have a locking bottom switch.....who originated that concept, is it patented and where were they when the modder that followed them, did the same. Actually the question is where were all these b!tchers and moaners.

The Zenesis, has no locking switch, has no interchangable tubes to allow the purchase of one device for multiple uses, has no tank protector, use different materials; but hey they have the same size tank and both have a Genesis atomizer. The important part that should squash all the loud mouths on comparing or b!tching about what they want to deem copying the Zenesis, is that Mike completely supports what Faceless is doing and has spent time talking to Faceless, someone who is ...... about what someone is doing usually doesn't offer their hand of support.

The cost.....KISS (Keep It Simple Stoopid), if it costs more than you want to pay then .... and move onto something you can justify the cost on. Get over yourselves people, you make yourself look bad when you run your mouths and spout your opinions that make no logical sense, you don't like something then go find something you like, if this device isn't for you, then happy days for those that don't have to wait behind you when wanting one.

:evil::mad::evil:

Now for a cold :toast:

We should hang out lol.

I also did the same measurements as zen for the tank purpose, I thought it was genius. The reason.... if I'm ever out of tanks, they can be bought from Zen, same with the orings but only the tank ones (those are used on all 3 of mine). His spare screws will not fit.

It seems they just want to complain, the point is, they dont have to buy it. The moderator of that site even said if another mod (forget the name) that looked like something else was put on their site, that they would be banned, I'm sure the same would happen to me. Thats ridiculous, thats like foot locker not carrying Adidas because nike was there first. Thats not a ecig friendly site at all. Thats hypocritical at the least. Was ECF here before them? If so, they copied them lol and should ban themselves.

This is the last post about this subject for me lol

Yeah my dad has been a democrat because that is all he has known his entire life. I am not, simply because I don't make my decisions based on emotion, I make my decisions based on logic. (used and an example, no emotional responses based on your stance with your political beliefs is necessary ;)) The entire debate or piss and moan session on those sites are based solely on emotion, absolutely no logic involved.....just how they feel. Just like in politics, you can't talk logic to a dem, no need in trying, they can't see past their emotion. It is what it is.....that was the main reason I kept from responding, it would have had zero impact and they would just use the post to flame their emotions further.

I actually took the time to go read what the thread said and here is my response:

Its actually a mature thread with reasoning behind the debate, I didn't expect that. No matter what they say about me over there, its a classy bunch. Everyone will have their opinions and they should be able to post what they want.

There are a few post that have errors though. Pumas said he gave me ideas and that is false. Murdock gave me ideas and a few other on what they would like to see and I take notes. I will try and add what I feel would make the vaping community feel satisfied with a PV. I also didn't ask Zen for permission, this is false also. I live in a free country and I have fought and taken a bullet for it. Anyone can take anything from anyone and try to improve it, it the american way, we like to advance and most of the worlds technology is from here. iPads, iphones, PC platforms etc. Do you think the droid is a copy of the iPhone? No, its there own take of what would be user friendly. There are so many things wrong with calling something a copy unless it is a copy. A copy would be like me making a Zenesis and not putting a Zen logo on it and selling it for cheap, like China does. That is a copy. I took innovations from other PVs, crossed them and added my own stuff to it, thats it. I made this PV to satisfy me and put it out here for people who were looking for these specs in one unit.

They say its too high for an aluminum body, but fail to mention the cost of the machines and man time to make the iHybrid. It has a ton of threads and thats a lot of machine time and tooling. They say its the highest hybrid on the market, that is false also. Especially if you take in the fact that your going to pay $300-$500 for a hybrid on the classies due to not being able to meet demand. The thing with me is, I can go buy any machine I want to keep up with demand, so people dont run into that dilemma. They even bash ECF and if it wasnt for this site, I would have never gained a lot of information about vaping when I first started 3 years ago. This site is full of information and if you got banned, its probably deserved.

The atty adaptor will be kickable, I have yet to see that but I'm sure they could say someone had that idea a long time ago. Ideas are ideas. I have an idea to make a flying car! So anyone that comes out with one is just copying me :)

I'm not one for debate either and heres why. Usually people who debate are very stubborn, even if you prove them wrong 100%, they stick to their opinion, its a worthless cause in my opinion. I choose to surround myself with people who are relaxed. I would rather sit around and drink with people who joke around and have a good time than sit around and debate, thats a waste of beer.

It can be made a fail hybrid no matter what I would have done. Almost everything has been done already. If I put a press button on it, it would have been an orion copy (even though other mods have push buttons). Side button I would have been copying the GG, its a lose lose if you look at it in a negative mindset. Maybe I should have it activate to your fingerprint. If anyone uses that idea, its a copy from me lol. Every hybrid has a positive post, wick hole, negative post and a tank. Its kind of hard to not copy that lol.

Someone also said I would ban them if they talked trash in here, that is false also. I have no power to ban lol and I have never said that. Once again false claims.

I also did the aluminum so I could have different colors, so you could save money by buying colors instead of a whole new unit. What other hybrid has that? If the metal gurus knew you couldn't anodize SS, they would understand that philosophy. I am sorry no one did that before, but anyone that does that will be copying lol. See how its ludicrous to say copy?

Zen has been very supportive and I didn't put him in a corner either, thats another false claim. I never contacted Zen about my design at all. He saw it when yall did. I highly respect that man and if he isn't upset it makes me feel relaxed. I am looking forward to meeting him at vapercon and supporting US modders.

In short, anything can be sad bad about any design. Anyone could say the Zen is a copy of the katana minus the tank sleeve and locking switch. The point is, its not, we all have our own ideas of what we want and the iHybrid is what I wanted :)

one more thing: someone made a comment on the forum about why the i is in front of hybrid that its not proper english and then put LOL. Well, LOL isnt proper english either but it has a meaning, just like the i. So I put the i on the sleeve sort of like a trademark.

I appreciate the defense put up by some but I would rather you just not debate about it, its a waste of time and I have all the support I need in this forum. It is appreciated though :)

Well said Faceless. And FYI, I saw Zen over the weekend, and directly from his lips, he is very supportive of you and your efforts, and applauds them. It is his opinion that "the more, the merrier" and that it is the only way the vaping community and the equipment will advance. He is a huge supporter of "made in the USA".

I like the DID, it has become my bike Genesis RBA on top of one ProVari, I may order another at some point. It may not compare to other RBA but it's fairly inexpensive and I don't stress out about it rolling down the road sitting in a Kruzer Kaddy. :)

I like it too but way too many choices in front of me now lol

Oklahoma may not have good shopping, and chokingly conservative views, but the people at least try to be hospitable here I think. More so than they were in Cincinnati. People there wouldn't have stopped to help me if my leg had been cut off. Unless it was a homeless person lifting my wallet. Lol
Oh my, that homeless person was probably a liberal looking for more than a state or fed handout....... ;) :)
