Don't know if it's been noted... But
I noticed this morning I'm not getting as much vapor out of a freshly charged battery.
I was all set up to wrap a hotter coil,
I went to loosen me post screws and noticed they were both loose.
I tighten both of them now it's rocking again.
The heat will loosen them over time.

I assume this would apply to other similar rebuildables.
Thanks for the info.

I had not noticed that... but will keep an eye out for it.

On a side note....
Has anyone else noticed the top cap is just a hair crooked?
And I'm NOT knocking the PV or workmanship here!

I thought maybe it was the tank itself. I figure it can be a pain to get the exact, I don't know, never done it.
I have sanded down a glass tank for a different PV.

Anyway, I changed it to an extra Zen standard tank I happened to have, it didn't really look any straighter, but the cap doesn't fit as tight.
However, I'm not sure what could be causing this, but I'm getting juice inside my "i" tube.
I'm wondering if a very slight gap is causing any liquid or condensate to run out of the cap.

I have it off now, to see if I'm still getting juice outside the tank, and I'll let you know if so.

Zen has the SS tanks, not sure if its still in stock but I did get to order one last week.

I too have ordered one of the SS tanks. After the fact, I sure hope they will fit properly with the tank cover. I tried using a polycarbonate tank and although it fits the APV it was too thick to allow the tank cover to slide over it like the quartz. Also, I did have the thought of increasing chances of shorts with the SS tanks if your wick hits the sides. With the SS tanks i guess I will have to remove the tank when re-wicking to be sure the wick sits right.

I noticed the liquid under the sleeve too but just figured it was condensation and was common.

Yeah, I've noticed that around the tank and cover too. Can't see any leaks so I thought it was juice dripping out the air hole from tipping it too long. But, I'm kind of baffled as to why the moisture is ALL the way around the tank in an even layer. I tried not using the tank cover for a while to see what happens and couldn't recreate the leakage...

I've been using it for a while now without the cover.
Tipping at 4/5 o'clock, which is my norm, and 3 just to see.

I'm not getting anything down over the tank, but there is a little around the base of the cap.

I guess maybe I'm not drawing long enough after releasing the button?
I don't want to change the tank again right now.
I don't want to mess up my wick/coil, and since others have noticed the same thing, I'm thinking it's not the tank itself.

I'm going to put the cover back on and draw longer after button release.

Question for Faceless/anyone else about the nylon piece in the bottom cap. I filed mine down to fit my kick in without a gap. Is that something that Faceless made custom or can that part be ordered somewhere online?

I did the same thing. I don't know if he made it or bought it, but i will tell you all, if you do that, be careful! If you file too much off that nylon piece, the APV will fire under its own weight when standing on end.

Quick question for you guys...This will be my first Genesis style device so please forgive the complete NOOBISHNESS. What size mesh should I buy? Where's a good place to get it?

Usually comes in a 10"x10" or 12"x12" sheet

Got mine off eBay

General consensus is 325 mesh for thick juices and 400 for thin, but it's really personal preference. Best place to buy it is ebay. If you go there and search for "stainless steel 325 mesh", the first 2 listings are who I bought from. Same goes for 400.
