The hole is so small already, and once you get used to the genisis mods the more airy the better. IMO
When I draw in I don't want any more resistance than breathing in air.

Somebody needs to make an adjustable draw DT, from wide open to completely closed, just by turning the DT. Would need a valve in the bottom right after the 510 connection. May be expensive in comparison but would make every device extremely versatile. Big bucks to the person who makes that animal.....take my idea and use it....just tell me when and where i can get one when they are ready.

Now that's a great idea.

I agree. It took awhile to get used to the draw of a hybrid, but since I did I can't use anything tighter. Stardusts in the trash, thats for sure. Its like trying to suck a watermelon through a straw. I even drilled out my phoenixes.

Look at COV's 510 Stainless Steel AFC Air Flow Control Drip Tip
I think I may have seen something similar somewhere else too... Ah - Siam Mods

Siam DT will not fit the Zen, iHybrid, or DID. I have tried....I have a wedge Siam DT and love the look but since I don't use Carto's any longer, it's stored in the back of a drawer.

I think the draw in the genesis style atomizers is changed by increasing/decreasing the air inlet hole. It wouldn't be too difficult to make a cap with an adjustment like that. I'm sure most have seen the adjustable air control on a GGTS. Put some threads on the outside of the cap, thread on knurled ring with an o-ring inside. Twist left or right depending on how much air you want coming in.

Making it look really good is another story.

Faceless,
You ignoring me? If so, you'd get along swimingly with my wife, she's exceptional at it. If not, let me know if you got my PM on Sat. Sent from iPhone in a spotty service area so not sure if it went through.

In other news, I thought of you Sunday eve (scary huh?) when I saw a life size Jenga set-up in the lot at a concert...

Ohhhhhhhh.....the giant Jenga......OK. I wasn't making the association.

....... Or a 2 piece top cap.
Threaded center with 2 elongated cut outs.
Open and close to desired draw.
But that would be a 100 dollar top cap.
Think of the odysseus threaded ceramic holder

I really think the optimal thing is a little valve that is hidden, so that when you adjust the DT still keeps its original looks. Did you watch the vid byte posted, when you close the draw the thing looks like chit. Plus I would want to be able close completely so if you laid a RBA down and put a piece of tape over the air hole in the top cap, the juice would not leak out. (thinking)

Well yay and meh at the same time... finally got around to tearing mine apart and putting it back together. Washed it with dish soap and then soaked it in 160 proof vodka. Added the insulator from Zen, and a small washer I had on the positive post under the smaller screw. Perfect flush 4/5 coil, it's vaping like a monster now! The meh part is I somehow got my tank cover stuck, I'm not sure if I accidentally cross threaded it or what, but it's stuck about 1mm from the bottom and I can't make it move either way. >.< I mean it's perfectly usable like this, but I'm OCD about the gap and I won't be able to get it off to put the green one on, and I'll never be able to take the tank off to clean it if I want to. Any ideas?

I also did the washer under the smaller pos. Screw today.
Now my wick is perfectly straight and zero shorts.
