I use no ox id special on my AYS, on the inside of the switch and the screw head and the top contact inside the tube, and all the threads. Zen doesn't recommend it, but honestly my AYS' switch oxidizes to the point of not firing with two hands in the span of 3 days use if I don't apply it. Something about my body chemistry I guess. I haven't noticed the same issues with the aluminum switch though which is great.

Disclaimer: Clean first with alcohol, apply very thin coating.. very easy to overdo it.

I use it, but not as a thread lubricant. I use it on the positive & beneficiary negative battery contacts. And if you ever use it, remember, less is more.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus

Specifically I use No-Ox-Id A-Special.....yes there is a difference and the A-Special works the best. I have cleaned my Ti Standard once since I received it and that was going on 3 months ago, still hits every time with no misfires. I don't gunk it on though, only a thin layer is all that is required.

Fisty sucks the life out of 18650s with just a touch - just like Rogue!

Without digging back through the thread.... who posted that they turned their spring upside down to get rid of the squeak?

Thanks for that.... LOL

I turned mine over as well, as now and then mine would squeak too.

Also, and I hope I don't upset you with this Faceless, I put a spare washer I had under the screw head in the button.
Now, my button was just a tad hard for me, but this has helped reduce the throw to the point I hardly have to press at all.
It does not fire when standing up, but makes it easier for me.

I have also been hiding it from the hubby.... so hopefully no more dented batteries.

I think I'll leave it this way until I get in new spring and magnets from Faceless.

I changed the link in my signature to point to your file...

I am trying to add the links site and a couple other ones in my signature, but it says I have too many characters or BBL something. Can you PM me how you managed to have your signature look so neat and still include the links? Tks!

It was MR. I just tried but I can't tell a difference.

Has anybody tried a super fat wick (roll till no hole in the center)? I just made one and I'm getting massive flavor but no TH. Not sure if this is normal.

Haven't put the iHy down today! Think I love playing with it more than vaping. I'm rewrapping coils and wicks even when I don't need to.

Also noticing that shorter wicks seems to wick faster plus when I want to change the coil I can still dry burn with juice in the tank. If anybody else has played with shorter wicks can we get your input?

The only difference I noticed with the turning the spring was no more squeak noise.

I have not tried different wicks, I'll keep this in mind though.

Off topic but I think I'm like your husband. Noticed I'm pushing the switch way too hard and sometimes resort to using 2 hands.

Anybody have another method to using hybrids? Making a fist with the pinky on the switch gets tiring after awhile.

Next time your wick gunks up, just pull the wick up, nip off the top and try it half sized.

Edit: Might need to buy lower nic juice. Just went through 3 tanks today and the day isn't even finished.

I put it in middle of my thumb and index make a half fist and use my middle finger and ring finger to press the button.
