Here's a somewhat related topic. Just for reference other than looking up information I rarely go anywhere online that isn't here or vaping related, but when I do it usually has to do with Apple news. For those of you who don't know today Apple is having a keynote presenting the new iphone. I went to my normal tech blog site to see what people were excited about or what predictions were being made when I looked at the comments it was nothing but hate. The usual apple fanboy vs Android fanboy stuff but personal attacks left and right. Your mother this, racial slurs, attacks on sexual orientation. Over what? A phone???? It's like the entire internet is turning into xbox live. If this is how our children respond to someone having a difference of opinion on a phone how the hell are they going to handle important disagreements that are way more complex? The anonymity of the internet doesn't give you the right to act however you want and as parents not holding them accountable for that behavior will bite us in the ..... It honestly scares me to death about what the future holds. I used to be upset that ecf wasn't the same as when I started but I'm starting to think more fondly of our little corner of the internet.

Ok, I'm still reading but heres a simple few questions to get your mind off stuff, this is for a kick by evolv

1. If I put 4 coats of paint on a brick, which coat goes on the first?

2. which month has 28 days?

3. how many times can you subtract 10 from 100?
I know this is over but I wanna answer for fun until I catch up on the thread and see the right ansers... Like a bookmark for myself haha.

1. The first coat.
2. All of them.
3. Once

LOL, but google is so tempting lol, You might like what I'm about to do, I'm about to drop the price of the iHybrid to $175 and its gonna have a 9/11 tribute engraved on the battery tubes, maybe a flag or WTC towers on it, etc..., its gonna go live on the site in a bit and I will only have 20 of them, never to be made again. Once they are gone, price and site will return to normal :)
That's so awesome! And very generous of ya, looks like there are still some left.. Self-control...fading...must...not...buy...

well, it does hold a lot of juice, around 5ml. I chain vape lol
That is one of the things I love about the iHybrid, large tank :) plus it's easy to fill when it does start running low. I chain vape but am still getting a full day off a tank :D

I hate facebook.. I have a page, but I hate it.
Seriously?!? But without Facebook, how else would you know what that-guy-you-knew-10-years-ago-that-you-were-never-friends-with is thinking about their food at some restaurant not nearby???

Ugh, please stop showing me signs that our society is collapsing. People can't seem to argue without taking it personally. Doesn't bode well for me who likes arguing for the sake of arguing (even if I know I'm in the wrong).

Off-topic but I just lost my bid on a shortsale. Anybody want to recommend me another state that has low cost of living and relative ease of finding a job/starting a business? Been looking at Colorado (Pueblo) and Texas (still no idea where, Texas is huge).

Ugh, I hate real estate. NYC hasn't dropped in value at all even with the supposed "real estate collapse". 1 family houses in my hometown was 200-300k about 15 years. Now're they're all almost hitting a million. Best part, we got tons of foreclosed homes but good luck getting one. Been working on the same house for the last 2 years now.

Thanks to anybody who can chime in.

I dont understand the whole fanboy stuff. One does stuff the other cant do, they are both different, some people only see black and white. Some people will always just want to voice their opinion and attract attention (over and over) on all websites and forums. Mindless children, I just ignore them or grab a cup of coffee and wish they would take gingko biloba LOL, ok I'm just ranting, time for coffee

Texas is really cheap and lots of land. I own a few businesses down here and homes are really cheap. You can build a home with your own plan for about $60-70 a sqr ft. Let me know if you want a home, I build them :) The business start-up is easy also, depending on what type of work you are looking for? The DFW area is great, especially around burleson 76028. Its the right distance from everything and still country. I live over from Burleson and I'm in the woods, it takes me 25 minutes to even get to the closest store lol. But I can have wild parties, bands, and its all private :) Land is cheap also. You will be looking from $5000-$10,000 an acre depending on location.

Thanks for the input Faceless!

How is cost of living? I'm not making much now but I know if I move I'll be making less.

Most of my income comes from rental property which I'll have to unload if I move.

It's too long of a thing to type out but there will be another giant housing crash and in the not too distant future. The shadow inventory of housing is so huge right now it's not even funny. There are so many houses owned by the banks and financer's that are artificially not for sale due to them not wanting to completely collapse the housing market. It will eventually happen, that inventory just keeps growing and growing.

Not only that but this is a very good read:
The $3,200,000,000,000 Question: Why Housing Has Much More To Drop Before It Bottoms | ZeroHedge

We looked at Texas at one point, Austin to be precise. Wow is it cheap and beautiful. I don't really know much else about my wife was being courted by a company there so she did most of the research. I didn't get too involved as it was pretty much a no go for us from the start due to my job being back in Canada.

Second the recommendation on Texas.. especially the area Faceless is in and going west or southwest a bit (a bit = 2 or 3 hours in texas).. beautiful country, sane laws (unlike NY), cost of living is very inexpensive there along with housing costs being very reasonable. Meat alone cost 1/3-1/2 of what it does here.

I had more thoughts..

I wouldn't go much south of Austin unless you like REALLY hot weather, and the southern areas are susceptible to hurricanes. The far east side is humid, like the mid south.. The far west is very dry and desert. The center area where Faceless is and where I lived for several years is a very nice middle climate. The winters are like October is here it snows rarely, maybe once or twice a year. Summers are long and hot but it only gets humid after a heavy rain. That being said, it does usually rain enough to have green grass and I never experienced a water shortage when I was there. It is overall drier than here.

The big cities like Austin and Dalas/Ft Worth are obviously more expensive.. and I wouldn't recommend them, honestly. A mid sized town like Abilene which is less than a couple hours west of Dallas is much much less expensive and still has all you could want as far as services and shops. And if you have a hankering to go to a huge city DFW is quite close by most people's standards. Likewise there are some nice mid sized towns between DFW and Austin. If you'd rather live in the country TX has you covered in spades.

Yeah if I could I would move back to TX in a heartbeat, but well that isn't in the cards right now. MO is ok, cost of living is cheap, weather is close to what you have in TX tho a bit more humid. The biggest downside to MO, is unless you are in one of the major cities like KC or St Louis, the job market sucks. I won't say it is any better in the cities, as I refuse to live in a city like that anymore so never checked.

Hey I'm on Xbox Live, Were not all small minded A-holes and poorly disciplined latch key kids. The group I play with are all very mature interesting adults (well fairly mature :D) LOL

And I love TX but didn't like CA when I lived there. LOL I like 4 seasons, CA has two.

Lol Definately, every person likes their own thing. I have a friend who moved to Texas and never wants to come back to CA. Personally I'm good with just Summer and Winter  And I like that the topography varies so much, we have the lowest, hottest desert up to some rockin' mountains for snowboarding. Forests to lush meadows to sandy beaches.... I just love it. But that's just me :)

EDIT: Apparently you can use the mountains for stuff besides snowboarding... but that was blasphemy in my parent's house growing up
