Yeah I was surprised how small it was also.

Same here! I had pictured something larger and heavier and was pleasantly surprised. Nice packaging too :)

On an unrelated note just found this picture and had to post it somewhere

I can try....

My buddy owns a B&M. He biught an iHybrid at my recommendation. I'm sitting in his shop helping him get it going,. He's wrapped a gorgeous coil. His vapor is "hit or miss". The coils don't get very hot. Takes about 10 seconds for them all to glow. I thought... "bad contact", and put a washer in the switch to raise the screw. Better, but still hit or miss. Any ideas?

10 seconds to on a dry wick? Yea that's really long if so.

If the wick has no shorts then I would trouble shoot it by doing one step at a time kind of thing.

Try a different battery. Try the other tube if you haven't already. Isopropyl all the contact points and the tops of the batteries. Try the other post screw.

If you placed the washer under the screw head it shouldn't really help with the firing position. I'm thinking of the bottom of the Zen switch that has a washer under the screw head. The switch should have enough play to be able to through the bottom of the battery when depressed so I'm not sure how the washer is helping(though obviously it is).

Switched to the 18350 tube... Freight train! I think it was a little anodizing on the 18650 tube's threads.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Yep...had that same issue with the green tubes. Not using them until I get around to cleaning it out.

Ironically I'm having the same issue right now with a Zen Mini...lol. It's not hitting at all, takes a long time to even get a coil glow on a dry wick with a fresh battery.

Just came to see if you got it resolved and I'm going to tear this one apart and 99 percent alcohol swab the entire thing.

Yes, the anodizing on the threads drives me crazzy also. I sanded with 400 grit, no go. Used a small wire brush and then sanded and it was hit or miss for a bit then just plain miss. Switched back to the plain tube and it's back in business.

I'll have to look at some other ways to clean up the insides, don't want to hose the threads.

Ugh, finally free to play around.

Local elections end tomorrow!

@Ezkill, ugh don't talk to me about the ghost inventory. The house I really want near my parents' place has been foreclosed for the last 3-4 years. No idea how to even get my foot into the door. Than there's the short sale I just wasted 2 years working on. Ugh wonder how long till the house falls back on the market.

Well this how I see it, either the RE market collapses or inflation compensates. I'm not seeing any collapse in the RE field in NYC but I am seeing inflation.

Yahs Gruss! You got it working! Don't think you're the only one who had issues with the colored tubes. Think Fisty had current issues too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, gonna look more into TX. Just need to figure out what I'm going to do for a living.

Broke the coil - the original coil I made when I received it. Bummer. All my fault, I was trying to clean it and was nudging the coil around when my screwdriver slipped and ripped it. I really think the taste gets better with time and I'm not looking forward for the harshness of the first day or so of a new coil...

Hahaha I fear the taste of a new coil too. I waste a ton of juice just to do random burns to mellow out the taste.
