Sounds like he ripped the wrapper when trying to either push it in further or pull it out when it got to tight, shorted against the mod.
I'm sure the cavalry has already arrived but I really feel for you and I'd love to help.
I saw the whole catching on fire thing and when I setup a new coil I find that's pretty par for the course. It's just part of my coil setup process, douse in juice and burn it off. Zen, iHbyrid, Orion, DID, Katana they've all been on fire. I just blow it out. it's not really due to shorts but I get stuff pretty hot when I burn coils in and I use 100% VG. Shorts will also cause fires but when setting up a new coil I just kind of expect it.
I understand that as well, but it won't stop. I guess it isn't wicking at all. I don't know, I'm disgusted with it. I'm gonna soak in the tub...LOL
Aarrrgghh! I want you to love that thing so bad. I just wish I knew what to tell you to fix it. I had some of that, but not nearly to the extent you are describing.

If we are going to do the face to face (virtual), we should do it rather soon. I leave for my trip around 3. Lets do this, maybe we will have you loving your Ti, like I love mine, with just some little going over.
Anybody interested in some bad azz tips? I will post a pic of a tip I just received just this last Monday. I will also post the website link. The one I have is made of stone but has a metal tube passing through the center....there is absolutely no metalic taste (for those who may have that concern), the taste is just a good as glass and it feels really nice (if not better than glass).

Odd about the wicking....don't really know what to say about that. I've not had a wick stop wicking unless it's just really old and not wicking very well.
No, there will only be 13 made and I am keeping 3 of them. Faceless will get one. The rest will be up for grabs.
