Yes I am familiar with the kryton host. Always wanted one but never got one. I just checked out your thread and seen them all line up and my jaw dropped. I haven't been on laserpointerforums in so long. Lol, my girlfriend hated it and just the other day she compared my ecig mods to my laser mods. Sigh, I might have to go over there and check things out and see what has happen in the past two years. I stopped around when the 445 diodes dropped dramatically in price.

My personal PV is a Kryton Groove modified to work as a PV. Even has room for a Kick in the top section above the switch. Here it is:

I cut my lathe teeth on that sucker. Had to make a custom endcap and custom top for the 510 socket. That and milling the section down for the switch.

I really really wish I had a lathe so I could continue to make these professionally.

I would liken that to buying a Vangough and painting over the top of it with your own picture. It's kind of why I was so leary about offering my services to you wonderful people. Faceless's work is spectacular and while I think my work is fantastic as well, you don't go painting over art with art unless it's cool with the artist!

Naw, I didn't mean it was unfortunate you did it. I meant they are hard to find.

There were never very many made, and they haven't been made in a long time. Most of them are sitting in GG collections and don't come up for sale very often. When they do, they are quite pricy.

Edit: You shouldn't worry about that kind of stuff. If someone wants the service you should just do it. I personally know a guy with a lime green 458 Italia. If someone want's to strip 20k of ferrari paint and re-paint their 250,000 thousand dollar car that's their decision. Sure the ferrari purists make angry faces every time they see it but that's part of the reason he did it. You want to see a bunch of ferrari guys make constipated faces? Pull up in a lime green 458 Italia, rofl.
