I've tried it sucks can't dry fire a lot else you melt it and then more issues..the easiest way I have found is to use the rolling paper method and wrap my coils off of device with mesh still on paperclip. I have made many this way with success and 0 any other way. Lmoacouple days ago I was reading some posts about people using isulators on the Ihybrid. Just out of curiosity how well did it work? The inner dia. of the ptfe on a BIC pen is so tiny. I cant imagine it wicked very well.

Eh, if you're not having problems with shorts just skip the insulator. It does limit how fat you can make your wick.

Also suggestions on polishing. Once you have sanded your barrel down to a nice fine and smooth finish, top it off with MOTHERS aluminum polish that you can buy at any local auto parts store. This will give it a super glossy and ultra reflective shine!
Never got the chance to try tiny mode.
The hubby stole it.
I have a 9/11, should be here tomorrow, so I'll have to try out the small mode on that.
I like the battery life of the 18650 though.

I can put out 18500 tubes if needed
Thats the same reason i never tried til today! Figured screw it.. i like it. Yea i should have the 9/11 tomorrow as well. cant wait to see it.. Also cant wait to try the Sagewood.. Im a glass tip virgin. LOL
I think you'll like the glass.
