Good man!

BTW.. Someone needs to teach me how to multi quote people so I don't post four things in a row.

I forsee a time when I will be letting an LE or two go in the classies (after all, what am I going to do with 10, 20, 30 iHys?), but they will NEVER be sold for more than list price. On top of that, I would offer to let them go here among faithful Hybreeds before even posting on the classies.

When you see a post you want to quote hit the lil multi-quote button next to reply with quote button (to the right) then on the last comment you want to quote hit the actual reply with quote button and it will put in all the quotes.

Thanks, Max. I'll give it a try on my next catch up post.

Don't know if this has been asked before.

Is the warning sign cutout on the tank sleeve suppose to line up with the facemask etching on the tube?

Mine lines up perfectly with the long tube, but is toward the back with the short tube.

Think its luck of the draw.

You could sand down the tank sleeve slightly to rotate it but might not align with a different tube.

Both my tubes don't which is really upsetting to me. I also wish the tank sleeve cutout was in front of the wick.

Just don't spin it all the way tight. Mine don't line up. I spin it until it stops, then back it up until it lines up. No problem.

O-rings are your friends, faceless put 'em on the 9/11's so the cutouts would line up with the engravings/wick
I put one on my standard ihy so the cut out lined up with the wick. The o-ring keeps tension on the threads so the sleeve don't rattle around

Edit--LL beat me to it

True that, they also offer a bit of fall protection for the fused quartz tank.Instead of falling over flat against your desk or endtable, the little bit of o-ring breaking up the clean lines soaks up some of the shock.

Well that is an added bonus I suppose.
