It's over, and for good I hope.

The chat is not a place for drama or other stuff like that. Just folks who like the same things hanging out. So I'd really be happy to see you there K-Man. We had a "spy" situation which I think brings ridicule to the persons involved in "spying" an otherwise open channel, and sometimes on the internet it is unavoidable to meet a-holes as well.

I'll do my best to keep things under control and help the new sheriff in town - EZKill :)

In any event, the chat is a private hangout, and it isn't affiliated with Faceless or his business in any way other than the name and the fact that most people in there love Faceless and his product.

I'll have to give the chat a shot. I pictured it like the stupid little chat window on CB's show. That moves way to fast to keep up with and stay involved in. I will check out the iHy chat.

I have stood up for other friends in there as well. This was beyond "gauche" to name calling.

Tempers flare when it's in the defense of principals or even a person you like and respect. I'm refraining from specifics, but there have been things going on in the thread that have no business here. I hope that's done with. It's just a matter of respect for Face.

I am sure it will be, if not yet very very soon.

Why that?

Those that have one like Face and Ez, found that was the easiest way to clean the switch so it will fire, the screw hole wasn't allowing proper contact to be made. Ez can explain it all.

there is oxidation on my threads which i think is preventing good contact. what should i use to clean it out?

i've tried a pin, a napkin, even bleach. have no sandpaper.

Is that just gunk or anodization?

I had a good result using IPA (rubbing alcohol). I soaked the parts and then rubbed the treads with a regular dish sponge (the dark part). Then I applied a tiny amount of noalox and rubbed it in well. That worked perfectly. Faceless recommended denaturated alcohol as the best for cleaning the threads.

To remove the anodization, there was a method proposed using warm lye - you'd have to be really careful and use a small amount, put it on a portion of the threads and let it sit for a while, then clean off, turn the tube and do the same for another portion and so forth. It might bubble and hiss.

Question for Faceless: If we send a message through the iHybrid website, you reply, and then I reply do you get it or is it kicked to your spam folder? I've sent you my addy 4 times along with some other questions and haven't heard from you. I know your busy so I try to be patient. I absolutely love my iHybrid most of all out of all my PVs! I tried to pickup my Zenesis last night because it doesn't get any playtime it seems. I only vaped it for about half an hour because I'm spoiled with how much harder the iHybrid hits.
If you just want to forget about the black mini tube replacement I will understand. I'll just wait and order some other colors later when their available. Thanks for all that you do and for making the worlds hardest hitting APV

no the atomizer to device screw

What device? That doesn't sound right, but you can still try the alcohol etc... If it's a regular atty, with airholes, then you should not use bleach or noalox or other toxic stuff there... I never ran into that problem, but give more details, maybe a picture...

the threads of the atomizer base where it screws into the battery tube.

i can't use iso alcohol for other reasons.

If you can't use 99% Isopropyl or denatured alcohol I don't know what to suggest. Other products prevent oxidation but those are what I use to clean it.

I'm sure someone else might have a suggestion.
