Got a good coil goin the other day.....too good, wicking wasn't enough.
Make new fatty wick.....kill previous good coil
Kill lots of 32 kenthal getting new wick going.......check

Damn man. I just got my kanthal and wicks in. I have tried to wrap this ihybrid like fifteen times lol and I still cant get one to produce right. I either have a hot spot and it tastes like crap or the wire breaks lol. Im new to all this rebuildable stuff. Anyone have any pointers for a easier way to wrap the coil? I already tried the paperclip trick and that didnt work lol

Edit: Oh, and it helps to just go ahead and get 100 foot spool of wire....less fear of trying different things.

I had tons of problems with my coils when using 32awg. I was popping like 20 a day for like 2-3 days. I just couldn't get it. I was told to try either a lower gauge like 30 or try twisting the 32. Well since I couldn't find any 30awg(which I still haven't) I tried twisted and now it lights up perfect like a Christmas tree. I wiukdve totally try twisting some 32awg and wrapping your coil with that. Worked for me

Am I reading this correctly? Are you saying I'll be able to put the iHybrid atty section on my provari? Pfft... No need for a ZAP if that's the case!
I recommend the Peter K method. A few pointers tho... Make the wick fill the entire wick hole. Also as Faceless pointed out earlier in this thread a nail that just fits into the wick hole is better than a drill bit for this method with the iHy. I am also new to the iHy and I'm vaping on a 3mm wick with a 3 wrap 32g coil metered at 1.6 ohms and it's working beautifully... No hot spots at all.
